Pizza Round-up

Don't eat here. They are completely incompetent and a rip off. The short version of the story is that we ordered a pizza, they guys in the kitchen screwed up twice (their own admission) and never made the pizza. So, after wasting AN HOUR waiting for pizza, my husband was finally given his money back but was never given a pizza. They closed the restaurant for the night and never offered us anything for the inconvenience. By the time they finished jerking us around it's now after 10 pm and we're still hungry because we've been waiting an hour for food that never materialized, and we can't call any other pizza places in town because they're now closed for the night. Here's the whole story: We ordered a pizza for carry out at 9:10 pm on a Thursday night. The lady who took our order said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When my husband got there at 9:30 he paid for the pizza, but the cashier informed him that it was not ready because the guys in the kitchen messed it up and had to make us a new pizza. She said it would take an additional 10 or 15 minutes. My husband waited there for the pizza as she closed the cash register and left for the night. He continues to wait for and additional 25 minutes and he can hear the guys in the kitchen joking and laughing and generally screwing around, but no pizza is ever brought out. Finally, he calls back to the kitchen to ask what is taking so long. The guys in the kitchen admit that they screwed up again (!?!) and never made the pizza, or dropped the pizza on the floor, or something ... They didn't have a coherent explanation. My husband then asks to speak to a manager. The manager comes back in and gives him his money back, but didn't do anything to rectify the situation or offer us anything for the inconvenience. At this point, it's 10 pm and they're closing the restaurant, but after wasting 50 minutes waiting for a pizza, my husband has to drive home empty handed. By the time he gets home at 10:10 pm, the family is starving but we have no pizza and we can't call any other pizza restaurants in town because they're all closed for the night. I can't believe how unprofessionally and incompetently the staff handled the situation. The kitchen staff apparently spend their time goofing off and not actually making any pizzas, the rest of the staff closed up and left while my husband was still waiting for his order, and the manager unceremoniously gave us our money back but never apologized or did anything to make up for the fact that we wasted an hour waiting for a pizza and then left hungry without ever receiving our food. The VERY LEAST the manager could have done would be to offer a coupon for a free pizza at a later date. Don't ever bother going here.
