Visited on a Thursday afternoon - seat yourself and order at the bar.
Ordered a couple beers, scouse, onion rings, nachos, and halloumi wrap. With the exception of the nachos (we're used to California quality nachos, haha) - everything was delicious! My husband loved the Scouse and dipped onion rings into it.
The onion rings were very good and breaded so nicely. I loved the halloumi wrap and seasoned fries that came with it.
Would definitely recommend and visit again! Staff was friendly and atmosphere was very quaint and nice.
I stubbed upon this gem of a pub. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. They will make sure you’re catered to. All are welcome and most of all they do steak on Wednesdays 3pm - 8pm. It’s was soo good, I couldn’t finish it all 😅.

Main (railway burger) was AMAZING! Chips beautifully seasoned, and onion rings crispy and fresh.
Pudding was a touch disappointing in comparison, but not bad.
Amazing Sunday lunch - 3 courses for £15!! Service, food and atmosphere are second to none. Love the beauty and elegance of this stunning pub. Food was served quickly, hot and fab portions, as well as quality and well presented. Will be back again very soon. Many many thanks!!
Was reccomended to us by a friend and it certainly didn't disappoint. Lovely friendly atmosphere, in a real traditional pub. We all had a meal and it came freshly cooked and piping hot, which we thoroughly enjoyed
so much so, we have rebooked for tomorrow. Great place to visit.
Great pub lively staff. Loved the food but not the Sunday dinner. But really cheap
We had salt and pepper chicken for £6.95. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for that price. It was the best pub meal I have had in a long time. Service was fast, staff were friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy. Most places would charge that much for a starter. Oh and the beer was perfect.
We will definitely return to try out more of the menu....and the beer of course.
Food was fantastic. The bar was brilliant. Staff were amazing, and the live entertainment was wonderful.
A gem of a pub. Just outside the main drag for tourists. Plenty of locals. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Love it.
