Fantastic food and the best chefs! Brill experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing food, great atmosphere and brilliant chefs. My new favourite place!
i seriously was too hungry to take photos of the food and scarfed down everything that came my way, hot and fresh off the tabletop grill. good fun too, you get a good show from your designated grill chef. beware: you may snort your beer if the chef pretends to flip an uncooked egg your way. food was superb, not oily, nor msg laden.
Servers put on an interactive show with the food on their hot plates . This bit is free and although it’s not cheap you really don’t need a starter as we ended up overfull. Food is really tasty and vegetarian choices are extensive.
Great if there's a large party of people you're dining with. I wouldn't choose to go here for a meal for two. Food is nice but not mind blowing.
Took our staff here for a Christmas do. Excellent!! Suited out budget , service great and entertainment made for a memorable evening.
The food is great, the experience is even better!
Cracking night out! Not just a meal, a full show to go with it too! Family loved it! Amazing!
A very entertaining night. The food was great.
Great food and atmosphere/entertainment. Definitely worth another visit.
Great food but atmosphere is like a macdonalds kids party. Also way over priced. Better options in Chinatown.
Great food. If only there weren't so many birthday parties in one Friday night. The entertainment factor (and volume) lifts even further when it's time to sing happy birthday.
I visited this year in June and absolutely loved it. I had gotten the waygu steak and it was the best steak I ever had. The chef had a lot of fun entertaining us by making fire erupt from the grill and do some magic in front of us.
The food was so tasty and had a lot of amazing options for all. The chef was really funny and we had a great time over all. Would definitely recommend!
Went sapporo on a Saturday night we sat at a table with 3 other couples whilst the chef entertained and cooked our food which was lovely and very generous portions. There was a little mix up with the bill as another couples drinks were added onto our bill but this was quickly rectified. The staff sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch.
We dined here during our trip to Liverpool last week. I am not usually a huge fan of Japanese cuisine but I am now converted. The restaurant is immaculate and modern. We were welcomed on arrival and was asked to take a seat in the lounge area whilst waiting for our chef. We ordered a few pre-meal drinks. We were soon taken to our table. In front of us were the grills in which the chef would do their magic. Whilst waiting we had our drinks which were great. My sister for the green dragon mocktail which was amazing. It contains apple, lychee, aloe, lemon and elderflower. I had to order one myself after having a taste. Although, I have to say the drink gets less enjoyable the more you drink. The first sip is the best. We also got blossom tea which was not bad. The food menu is vast. So much to choose from that it’s difficult to decide. Thankfully they have taster menus which means you get to try a bit of lots of different things. I opted for the Emperor taster which had 9 items on it with a mixture of meat and fish options, plus a dessert. 2 others in the party also got a taster but got one of the smaller ones. My sister just chose from the menu. The chef soon arrived and he was humorous throughout. Be prepared to catch some potato in your mouth. He didn’t say a huge amount but likes to imitate peoples laugh. Thankfully, nobody found offence to this. My favourite part was when he got his big out on show. It was so random but so funny. We were all very impressed with his abilities in the kitchen. He was clearly an expert with years of training. Now down to the food. My review would be the length of the bible if I described each dish but overall the food was delicious. I even had sushi which I loved. The last time I had sushi I wasn’t a fan. My favourite dish was the barbecue ribs. They were, fall off the bone, tender and the taste was unreal. The seabass was also particularly amazing. I thought the beef fillet was incredible. We shared the duck spring rolls and they were also really tasty. Most items were faultless apart from a couple. My wife and I both had chicken fillet and we both agreed that it was very chewy and squeaky and it didn’t taste all that great. The sweet potato tempura was nice but I thought that the sweet potato was undercooked because there was a few hard bites. With each dish we had fried potatoes, egg fried rice and veg. All of which was really good. I could’ve quite happily snacked on this potato’s all night. Finally, we got dessert. I went with the chocolate spring rolls which were delicious. My wife got biscoff cheesecake which she really enjoyed and the other members of the party also loved their dessert. It was an expensive bill just for the 4 of us but it was an amazing experience. Portions were relatively small but you do get a variety of high quality food so I didn’t mind paying more than I would usually. I would love to come back.
Great customer service, chef is nice.will definitely come back.
What a fantastic eating experience! They cook it all fresh and in front of you and the chefs are really entertaining. Never experienced anything like this before, the food was really tasty I would definitely recommend!
Have been before years ago and since covid, the place is still very good. Experience was fun and came on my birthday/valentines day and the menu was very good value for money, really enjoyed myself and left full and always fun to socialise with other customers on the table. Would recommend and fun for a date night or ice breaker for a first date place
This place is absolutely brilliant!! We've eaten here several times and always been extremely well entertained by the chef who cooks the food in front of you. The food itself is very tasty and you leave the restaurant feeling full! Great price too, definite value for money and a great experience. Would be ideal for a special occasion.
Been going here for years, absolutely love their chocolate spring roles 🤤, often just come here for that and a coffee.
The food is also phenomenal!
Atmosphere and service is always impeccable, one of my favourites
I came here about a month ago with a friend, food was great and the show was good. The chef's with the big hats did the show, they chucked the potato chips into our mouths, they set fire to some brandy on the grill and that was great. However, I want to give a shoutout to the chef who came out and cooked the lobster/beef/chicken breast that we had with our emperor taster menu. The quiet chef who came and cooked everything to our liking was fantastic, you could tell he was dedicated to his craft, the patience and skill he had really made the night, I hope he has a great career in chefing because you could tell he was putting the work in. Will definitely have a second visit.
