Lovely quirky place for afternoon tea. We came for a friend's birthday and staff couldnt have been more welcoming. Afternoon tea isn't my thing so it wasn't really good value for myself but fab cakes!
Excellent food and service. Both my main and starter were top notch, with the lamb main being one of the best I have had EVER!
For my starter, I selected the Roasted stuffed boneless ‘Catforth Lancashire’ quail with celeriac puree and a green apple and tarragon jus – the dish was beautifully presented and a testament to the skills of Chef Paul Askew and his London Carriage Works / Liverpool Community College team that they could produce food of this quality in their ‘field kitchen’.
Exceptional food and service. Dinned here for dinner as a couple and their new menu is truly amazing. I couldn’t tell you what my favourite dishes were because both me and my partner enjoyed every dish and every bite. I really loved the little breads and butter to begin with and every plate after that was presented beautifully. The strawberry dessert topped everything off.
Highly recommend and would definitely be back.
One of my favourite afternoon tea spots in Liverpool. They offer a traditional afternoon tea which was SO tasty. I loved their sandwiches which included egg, cheese and onion, salmon and chicken. They had 2 types of scones.. fruited scone and plain served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Also included in our visit was a free glass of Prosecco. I’d definitely return!
Came here 25th October to celebrate my 60th birthday it was a total surprise and we entered into the warm friendly atmosphere and were greeted by happy, polite staff (Grace and Erin). Can not fault in any way, the food was prepared and served simply but classy and everything tasted amazing, the warm scones where just how my mum used to make them. We finished with a cocktail and chocolates to help celebrate my special day, thank you, we will be back to sample further things you have to offer.
Excellent lunch. Very good food and attentive service. Will be back when i am back in the area.
Excellent Hotel. Rooms are spacious and so clean. Massive bathroom.
No mini bar in our room but not needed as a one just below on the ground floor. Prices are fair and atmosphere is great. Friendly and polite staff. Will definitely be coming back here. No parking on premises but nearby parking available. Would recommend Liverpool cathedral as it’s attended with cameras everywhere. Closed car park available but not as secure.
Phenomenal food. Flavour, texture and temperature combinations you've never dreamed of put together on a plate of absolute genius.
Good food for a reasonable price.
Stayed for a night for my birthday, lovkey room, super friendly staff and amazing food. I can honestly say the ala cart menu is amazing.... 5 stars x
