Lovely date night with my dad. We booked in advance, thankfully, as it was busy!
Service was great, we were shown to our table quickly and our drinks arrived quickly.
The food was delicious, although the portion sizes were big. We also had a voucher for a dessert, which you can vet by signing up on the website. Great value for money.
Our waiter, Simon, was outstanding. He was cheerful and so helpful and really made our evening so enjoyable.
Visited for lunch, restaurant was very quite as we arrived just after the opening time. Seated fast and had some small complementary pink drinks. Food came out in good time, tasty and well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would visit again
The food is good just like most the ASK Italian restaurants.
However, the service is outstanding. The waitresses are really nice and friendly.
We went there at noon so there wasn't too many people.
Good quality of pasta and pizza. Very creamy pasta and rich cheeses on margarita. Slightly expensive but I will come back.
Had a great pre-theatre meal here last week. Restaurant was really busy and staff were working as hard as they could to meet the demand. We were really well looked after and impressed with the service even when the restaurant was as busy as it was.
Never been before but the food was lovely, service was fantastic. Think her name was delly but nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely be returning with my partner
Had a nice lunch here at the weekend. It's pretty quiet around 2-3 on a Saturday.
We shared a pizza, some burrata, calamari and zucchini fritti.
The Primavera Forever pizza was really tasty, and it worked very well to dip the stonebaked crusts into the pesto dip with it. We took the leftover pizza home as it was so nice.
Burrata was nice enough, but it looked a bit sad on the plate and could have been perked up with fresh basil or a crostini. The zucchini was fine for nibbles, but as a side, I would have liked to see more substantial chunks of courgette rather than small bits.
I'm afraid that the calamari was pretty bad. It was just tasteless and chewy to the point of being difficult to eat. There was no lemon served with with it.
I had a strawberry mocktail which was very nice and not too sweet. I was also happy that they brought plenty of cold tap water to the table.
Service was good and we had a friendly server.
I would eat here again, I just wouldn't have the calamari! As far as chain Italians go, it's pretty pricey but had some nice options. Pizza is always a safe bet.
Very good at catering for gluten free diet. All the food was tasty and lived up to expectations. Very handy as we were going on to the theatre afterwards.
I had previously been to Ask Italian in York and really liked it. So trying out the restaurant in Liverpool was an easy choice.
The food was amazing service was great and the price was very reasonable. It was that good we went back later in the week for lunch.
Food wad delicious and the servers were lovely !
Shout out to John for being so friendly and bubbly !
PS i especially recommend the calamari and biscoff Cheesecake!!
