Had food once and it was your typical pub food. Prices are alright and they have offers on certain days. There's plenty of places to sit including a nice little area outside that gets the sun in the evening. There is more seating upstairs along with pool tables.
Only issue I've had is only 1 bar staff when it was busy. Waited around 10mins to be served. Which isn't ideal, especially when people end up pushing in.
This place is wheelchair and kid friendly. However when I was there last, the disabled toilet door/lock was broken and there is only one disabled toilet downstairs. The toilet are up stairs.

Very busy pub. The service for food was prompt. The all-day breakfast was fantastic. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you find yourself near Yates in Liverpool and are peckish, it's worth popping in.
Steve made us feel welcome he was friendly and his customer service was amazing. We were made to feel welcome and we were served quickly. We didn’t eat there so I can not comment on the food.
I haven't been in Yates for years, but today I popped in for a few drinks on my way for the bus, and absolutely loved it! The drinks are reasonable, food was great, it's modern and clean. Not to mention, the gorgeous orange chairs near the bar - super comfy and look great! I have to say, it's changed a lot since I last visited but for the better! Also, the staff are super friendly especially the dishy Australian. We'll be back soon for sure, might even book a cocktail making class next time too. :)
Claire’s service was fantastic travelling from outside of Liverpool and she made us all feel very welcome. Thank you Claire you beauty. Food was great had the sub club highly recommend
Claire was a lovely barmaid, very friendly with great service. Food was great and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend coming here; I will definitely be coming back
Had a cocktail masterclass as part of my Hen Do weekend, our server was Chloe and she was fantastic! Very bubbly and friendly and she was so attentive to our group until the end of her shift, and even came to say goodbye before she left. Food was delicious, although portion sizes were inconsistent. Would highly recommend.
Went for dinner with my daughter, we ordered at the bar and had a short wait for food. My daughters burger wasn't plain and had to be sent back which caused some delay but food was tasty and the wait staff were pleasant, would visit again.
