I know it's classed as an old people's shop but I love TJ's. You'll always get a bargain. I spend hours just wandering around in there. I've been going there since I was a little girl, I'm 54 now and still love it. Happy memories of going to the cafe with my mum.
Great department store, plenty of offers , excellent for menswear.
A real value for money restaurant ! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food delicious.

TJ Hughes never let's me down. You can always pick up a good bargain or two. I love mooching around in the make up aisles. Some good brands. If you are in a rush, leave this shop for another day when you have plenty of time to have a good mooch.
Good shop with cut price brand names, only draw back for me is they rarely stock large sizes, I'm 6" 4 and find it hard for clothes in my sizes here. They do have a good collection of toys and electronic goods in the basement as well as other things like furniture, perfumes etc.
We lost our TJ Hughes in Sheffield. So on a day trip to Liverpool I popped in. Full of all sorts of discontinued clothes, beauty and stuff. A bit like a warehouse for returns and things that didn't sell elsewhere. A bit depressing but that's what the store was like in Sheffield when it moved from Castle Square to The Moor. It's a shop - whizz round in 10 minutes. You might find a bargain.
A very good shop with a fantastic history. Stock depleted at the moment awaiting move of premises. I love this shop and would definitely recommend.
