Loved everything about this place. Great interior, like a mashup of a cosy living room and Thai street stall. Food absolutely slaps, the krapao and papaya salad are fiery but delicious. The green curry is perfect. And the man serving us (guy with the bun) is an absolute gem and super attentive. 10/10 will be going back

If you’re looking for tasty Thai food In a cosey setting this is the place. Penang curry was very flavourful along with the sticky rice. The waiter was very hospitable and attentive to our needs. Thank you for another lovely evening!

Update on review: Following rather terrible food experience Thai Rice offered me to give me a replacement order on anything else I would choose. I chose Thai Green Curry with King Prawns and that was delicious. I measure quality of companies not only by product /service they provide but by how they handle complaints. Thai Rice Shephers Bush handled this unfortunate delivery order extremely well and for that, I have upgraded their rating to 4*. For 5* they would have to improve the Thai Platter & Crispy Squid, but it is a good 4*.

I ordered Thai Platter & Crispy Squid. Literally inedible. Veg tempura dripping in old grease, squid-there is basically crispy batter with a bit of squid in it. They forgot to add satay sauce to satay chicken and sesame prawn toast has no prawn in it at all. It was very disappoi ting given I have been a customer of Thai Rice Portobello, so the same chain for a long time.
