I spotted this place on my way to an exhibition by the Riverside from Southwark station. It looked cosy so it made me want to check inside.
Actually, I noticed that it is another brunch at Hoxton hotel and the lounge bar in Hoxton hotel Holborn is one of my favourite places to meet my friends and have a drink.
There are seats for drinks and snacks on the right, and then on the left side is a restaurant.
It was a cold day and staying in there made me feel at home. We ordered a cup of coffee with chips ( we were a little hungry...) and stayed there for almost three hours.
This is a lovely hidden gem that I would love to come back to many times.
The staff were also lovely and helpful. 😊
Nice, cosy restaurant on ground floor of a hotel. We sat at the comfy area, shared a few small plates, quite tasty. Cocktails were nicely done too. Attentive service from staff members, special thanks to Justina and Eugene from their lovely welcome. We'll be back soon
Staying in the ibis Blackfriars in London for the weekend and we wanted somewhere nice to go for breakfast that wasn’t that far away, so we decided on this place and we were glad we did. Service from the staff was okay and not the best service. Just seemed slow and a little uninterested. As for the restaurant itself it had beautiful interior and somewhere you would like to sit and just chill out for a while. Would recommend this place to others it’s just the service which could be improved!
Staff who smile and chat, food that’s tasty and quick and a setting that’s relaxing but vibrant all at the same time. One of my fave hangouts when I’m down on business. 👍🏻
We had a lovely lunch come brunch at The Albie this week. We booked a table because they have plenty of outside space on the pavement in front of the hotel. We selected one dish from the EggBreak menu and from the Hox Classics. They have enough options for vegans and vegetarians. The food was nice, staff friendly and the location is great. A good brunch spot at the weekend. I wrote an article for my blog so have posted some of these pictures fro you.
Spent two nights in the Hoxton Southwark Hotel and had lunch and dinner. Albie is a very nice, cool and as well cosy place with a good choice of food, wine and cocktails!
The staff is very, very nice, friendly and always serving with a smile.

We had breakfast and dinner at Albie while staying at the hotel. The food was tasty, the staff vere curtious and friendly. We loved the relaxed atmosphere. Vegan options available!
The flat iron steak and box fries were absolutely delightful! Would highly recommend for anyone willing to spend some big bucks for great food
Lovely stuff and amazing food. I’ve been there a few times for work lunch and it’s always been really good.
Food is okay, nothing special and quite expensive for fairly simple dishes. London prices for sure. Atmosphere is nice and service is good!
