Sangam Didsbury

Been visiting Sangam restaurants for years. Previously in Rusholme and Manchester city centre. Just moved home and tried the local Didsbury restaurant. We went early doors so very quiet. Food excellent as always, extra saucs provided on request at no extra cost. Known Saleem for years and always been a great person.

Had Iftar here, really lovely experience. The food was good, everything came on time. We were given a lovely fruit platter with chocolate dates. Staff were really helpful and provided great service. The place is decorated so beautifully. All halal, plenty gluten free options available, prayer space available.

We were searching for Indian food options after 9 pm and we were lucky to find this place just 10 -15 minutes away from Trafford centre. The food is really good. They provide typical Indian food . Their price Range is also not too high. It's pretty much decent. Plus the quantity is also amazing. We ordered lamb biriyani, naan and butter chicken. It was really good and for starters we had panner and spicy papad. The ambience is also really beautiful. It's a must visit if you are somewhere near Trafford centre or Didsbury. The staff is also really nice. We were so happy to have met Shahin one of their main staff. He was really nice. We got to have a great conversation with him as well. Definitely a must check out place.

Always a decent curry and usually the cavernous place is full enough. I particularly like the fact that you can bring your own wine… which is a massive benefit - basically a £10 bottle of wine that would cost £40 off the menu, a reasonable £5 corkage fee - and the fact that the semi-reasonable 10% ‘optional’ service charge does not include the price of wine or beer. Well done.
