Called in for something light to eat around Lunch time & was pleasantly surprised at what we received. For £10 I purchased a Pulled Pork Sandwich and a drink (Cider). My wife had the Club Sandwich. She had fries & I had chips. Take a look at the menu at what was included in them. A former Bank from 1980-1985 it became I Pub in 1985. I remember visiting in tne 1980s. This was my first time back in the place. Great food & very interesting building. If your looking for something light for lunch at a great price then you must pay a visit..

Just been for a late lunch and the food was really good, the chicken pie and steak pie were both really good and the fish was cooked to perfection, just as fish should be cooked. Great selection of cask ales which is a big tick from me and the atmosphere is really nice and the building is stunning. Will most definitely be coming back for more

I didn't eat so it's only fair to show 5 stars not a negative review ...but I didn't order food. Myself and my fair lady love nearby er popped in on a bit of an impromptu pub crawl. Chap behind the bar was amicable, the neck oil was crisp and smooth. Mrs had house red. Will return.

Best Fish Chips in Manchester. Fish batter was perfect, crunchy and not oily at all. The oil used is new and clean. Enjoyed very much. Service was excellent , we were sharing a large portion, the nice server gave us 2 side plates without us asking :) The ambience is very interesting, it used to be a bank !! There is also no service charge! Thumbs up Will definitely visit again ☺️ thank you

The staff were so nice and welcoming. Tom was very kind sorting our gift card issue. Very happy with the service, although some of the menu had sold out, the pies we had were absolutely outstanding, the starters really tasty and deserts amazing. full of flavour. Over all a fabulous meal in lovely surroundings with professional and accommodating staff.

An absolute stunner of a venue no doubt about that. And I love that an old bank building can be used for public access. Great mood, friendly atmosphere and staff. I had a burger and it was decent- but it felt a little processed/frozen/heated. My guess is that The Bank belongs to a chain of pubs and the menus are similar to wherever they you go. Meaning that the kitchen probably only heats up parts of your meal. A little lacklustre for the price you pay. Having said that, great choices of beers/draughts and I would absolutely visit again. But would maybe go for snacks and beer instead.

4.5 Star. The location is very convenient, city center location. The decor is nice. Staff is very nice. I like the soup, rich with tomato 🍅 and smell good with the herbs 🌿. Just a small recommendation, the butter is far too much and a waste, can consider small portion for butter with soup, with refill if needed. Rib eye steak is well cooked. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with salt or rose salt, that’s why deduct for 0.5 point. Mushroom is good, and I like the source comes with the veggie. To be honest this is a little bit too much for one person. Haven’t order any alcoholic drinks, but definitely will try next time.
