First time in Sanam, but it was great. The food was delicious, and the service and staff were lovely and helpful. It's worth every penny spent in there.
Sanam mixed grill was amazing and spicy.
Big choice of food, and we took some home too.
Absolutely smashing grub!!!!!. Really enjoyed every bite, the food smell takes me back to Pakistan 🇵🇰 😋. Highly recommended for authentic desi food.
The interior is very pretty and the restaurant is quite big compared to other ones on curry mile. We didn’t have to wait long for the food which was nice and all of the staff were very kind. Especially the younger waiter was very sweet. We both ordered chicken biryani, one with mild curry and the other one with a mint yogurt sauce and both tasted amazing! We also got cheesy naan bread but it wasn’t as cheesy as we expected it to be. We got a jug of coke (the jug is more recommended between 2 people in my opinion, as it’s basically one “free” drink, considering one glass of coke costs about £2-3 and the jug costs about £7. So between 2 people you pay 1.75 for a drink) overall it was a lovely experience but nothing over the top. The portion sizes are very big tho
One of the original go to places especially that is not licensed. Family friendly and whilst it can be more middle of the road, you at least know what you are getting and it has tried to stick to its traditional roots and not go to modcon. If you want more of the modern stuff there are other places however if you want stuff that is done well and that you know you will get - especially sweets and desserts, go to this place. It's always reviewed as being a midpoint of Winslow Road - you either go up the road towards town or down the road towards fallowfield. Food as well is in the mid-range - price-wise but quality remains good. Trusted name and a trusted place.
Give them a try while visiting manchester. I love love love their chicken biryani ❤️ Also Chicken Achar is love ❤️ Chicken kebab was average. But overall a good experience ❤️
Whay a lovely restaurant, fantastic food lovely ambiance, great service, came with all the family (15 of us) the kids also enjoyed themselves, definitely recommend guys!!!!
Visited with the family and it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious. We got the mixed grill and the wings were divine as well as the lamb chops. Maybe some of the best I have tried. The service was great and staff were friendly and attentive. Loved the new interior and would definitely visit again.
We've been here before but hadn't posted a review!
It's just as I remember it. Quality food and reasonable prices.
We didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive, but when it did we were quite surprised at the portion sizes. They're quite generous and the curries are enough for two people.
We really enjoyed coming back here and will be back again if we visit Manchester again.
We sat in to have desserts only. Usually you'll get frowns at this kind of behaviour, but not at Sanams.
Really good atmosphere inside. The decor is exemplary. It's nice, clean and comfortable.
We had Rasmalai, Ghulab Jamun with ice cream and a cookies sundae.
Rasmalai was spot on
Ghulab Jamun came out without the ice cream, but this was rectified immediately.
The sundae was lovely too.
We also had takeout jalebi. Something they are famous for.
Entrance is wheelchair safe.
We ate biryani and it was good. Portion sizes are slightly small but service is good.
Parking is a very big issue on Wimslow load
