Basmati

THIS PLACE WAS SO GOOD...ahem, sorry for caps. I'm not massively into Indian cuisine, never know what to order but I booked this for partners birthday who loves this and spicy food in general. The place itself was lovely, clean, busy but it didn't feel like the staff were overwhelmed with the amount of people there. I chose things I thought I would like based on the explanations on the menu and asked the waiter for clarification and recommendations. Our starters were phenomenal, so much flavour and presented very well. Curry up next, we had a curry each and the staff warned my partner that it was spicy which was appreciated but ordered it anyway and he said he's never had a curry almost bring a tear to his eye but this one did but in a way which was flavour forward and not like some curries which are just hot but bland. He said it was the best curry he's ever had. Mine was incredible too so much flavour, sweet and went very well with our naan breads. Even with the amount of people in the place, we weren't waiting long for the food, the place just runs smooth. Everything was absolutely perfect and this gets an easy 5* - both of us said we would go again, it even makes me more interested in Indian cuisine.

Absolutely amazing was mine and my girlfriends 2nd anniversary . Food was amazing , service was quick always a waiter on hand when you needed anything . Drinks and extras was brought to the table soon after we ordered them . Really nice relaxed atmosphere could not have asked for a better night out . Massive thank you to Ali he really made our evening feel special .

I now visited this restaurant twice in preference to our old favourites in Stoke, and I like it. Very comfortable restaurant with excellent air con (28° outside) so was needed. The restaurant is licensed and serves a good pint of Cobra, the food is good with some nice service. Will definitely go again and explore the menu a bit more.

Cozy restaurant with good impressions! Extremely polite and friendly hosts, beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, great food presentation, menu with many choices for non-veg, veg and vegans too. The only downside was they took nearly an hour and a half to prepare food, but the food was worth the wait. I highly recommend to everyone!

3 of us went there on a Friday and the food was absolutely lovely. I had a lamb biryani with vegetable curry. My friends had another curry and sizzling meats with garlic rice etc. The service and staff were wonderful and the restaurant, although busy, had a great atmosphere. My friend and I went back on Sunday evening as it had been so good and although it was a lot quieter the food and experience were the same. I was visiting friends and dont live near, but I will visit the Basmati Restaurant when lI am here.
