Hats off to the 4 members of staff that were on today. I went to meet a friend for a few drinks and a catch up (1-3pm) The place was busy & there were only 2 behind the bar & 2 people serving food. All 4 of them were polite & smiled whenever they were dealing with or walked past a customer. Not once did any of them drop their guard or looked fed up cause it was boiling hot. I've done that job myself, so I know in 20 plus heat, it's not easy.. When I have been in the past one or two members of staff have been rude or things have seemed like more than their jobs worth but today was team work. You should be proud of them
Went here for a meal last night, had the seafood platter, was delicious, hubby had giant gammon, all in all meal was very nice, son had bacon and cheeseburger, staff were good, will defo be coming again xx
Calm, relaxing & a delicious meal. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Ordered via Greene King app, and food/drinks came out quickly and was hot!
Popped in as staying locally for a few days. But highly recommend.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the pub was very clean unfortunately that does not include the Ladies toilets none of the toilets had seats fitted and all the cubicles had a lot of graffiti in them a shame because the rest of the pub was well decorated the food was great and plenty of it meaning we will be going back again especially if the Ladies toilets are sorted out.
The Mexican Pasta Salad with Salmon was great. Salmon cooked to perfection, skin nice and crunchy. Also had a bit of the fish and chips from the son, fish was again excellent. Kids loved the brownies, so sadly didn't get to try them!
Had a really lovely time, Ben who brought our food was amazing and lovely. No complaints will come again. Gravy off gravy burger tasted bit weird but overall vey nice :)))))))
Went for lunch with my daughter after a hospital visit. The service was excellent, the prices are fair to most places' but the portion sizes are bigger, so it's definitely value for money. We went on Thursday and got the meal deal and got a pudding for free, which I'm sad to say I couldn't eat it all. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal I had the chicken with melted cheese smoked bacon and a sauce with chips peas and onion rings and the rest of the family all enjoyed there's there was 5 of us and 2 grandchildren 🙂👍
Went on a weekday lunchtime and it was reasonably busy. Unfortunately they had run out of some of the items we wanted but its not the end of the world. Plenty of other things to order. Approximately 30 min wait for the food but not too bad considering how busy it was.
Been a few times now and tried a few things. The first time we visited my sizzling steak was missing onions, mushrooms and peppers. Never said anything as the staff were busy. Food was lovely on all occasions and the staff make you feel very welcome.
Wednesday curry day, my wife and I had the big curry and they were very nice, and the price was good as well, Really enjoyed them. The onion bhajis are amazing.
