We've been coming here for at least 5 years now and it's always brilliant: it's comfortably the best pizza in Newcastle, possibly the best in Tyneside. Also: very nice mini arancini.

We travel 12 miles from Washington, specially for these lovely pizzas. Proper Italian style, lightweight base, great taste, quality ingredients and not overloaded with cheese

Amazing pizzas!!! We had the special Margarita with saffron and chicken, and Dolce Vita.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dessert was also superb 👌🏼

Pizzeria Italia served tasty food and was very welcoming. The restaurant has a beautiful frieze on the back wall. It proved an inspired choice of venue to meet with a friend.
I was impressed by the texture of the pizza I ordered. The flavours were good.

Fantastic place for both a sit down meal or picking up a takeaway. The food is sublime and not just the pizza, but the lasagne and arancini are great as well as the chocolate cake and coffee. Service is second to none. You will always get a friendly welcome. It can be very busy at times though but worth the short wait. Lunchtime deals on pizza is very good on a Friday too. Overall it is just exquisite and can't recommend them highly enough.

I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life (friends don’t call me “Greasy Liam” for nothing) and I’ve gotta say, the cylindrical food discs they’re making over at Pizzeria Italia are something else entirely. These pizzas aren’t just reasonably priced, they’re so delicious they’ll make your eyes water. Don’t buy a Dominoes. Just, stop. Be kinder to yourself. You deserve one of these instead. Also the staff are really lovely even on super busy evenings. Honestly, there’s some nights I’ve popped in without pre-ordering and there’s 15 people in the queue and they’ll still be friendly when I get to the front. If I was them I’d be throwing bags of flower around and punching the dough, but no. They’re all grand. Anyway yeah I like it here you should try it out. Sorry the picture is naff, I was drooling loads when I took it and I couldn’t get a decent angle because I was making my phone all wet.

Best pizza ever in Newcastle!!! Every time is freshly, tasty and delicious. Thin crust and full of flavour. The spicy salame is an extra plus for me. Went to collect and couldn't resist to have a piece in the car...

Wow, Absolutely delighted to find this place. Super authentic, super tasty(delicious dough)and super value.Popped in at lunchtime with my son and his eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the size of the lunchtime special pizza. Lovely friendly and polite young lady serving us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended
