The best fresh pasta I had in a while! The main dish took a bit but the restaurant was packed. All the food came out piping hot and delicious! Great service in a cozy restaurant!
I have ordered Risotto Marinara. It was superb! Absolutely loved it! The seafood was of good quality, not over cooked.
The service was excellent and the whole atmosphere was unique and great. Highly recommend it.
We visited this restaurant whilst we were up for a weekend break in Newcastle, ordered the seafood pasta and the chef special of beef stroganoff. Absolutely superb good and very very friendly welcome on arrival.
Drinks very reasonably priced and we had a very pleasant experience - the only downfall was that we wanted to go back and book for the Sunday - but it's closed.
Overall a very nice meal and superb experience - would return again without hesitation
I had dinner with my husband a few days ago, we were more than satisfied. Very good food and fantastic welcome. Luisa made us feel like we were at home, highly recommended, we will be back soon.
6 of us came before seeing Lucy Worsley at Tyne Theatre. Service a little slow and just managed to leave 10 mins before it started. Good range of pizzas and pastas and Nancy enjoyed her chicken and veg. Drinks reasonably priced too
Another great meal here. Cocktails were also very good. Mushroom bruschetta starter was amazing. Chicken parmesan very good, thick tasty chicken and was too large for me to finish. Which is almost unheard of for me!!
Visited from London for my husband birthday. Owner remembered us from our previous visit in September. Really made our evening special including playing Happy birthday and putting a candle on his tiramisu! Food was excellent Good sized portions and fantastic value for money. Well done Pinocchio. Worth coming to Newcastle just to eat there.😊
amazing food, great atmosphere and would go back again! sorry i was one of the last ones to leave on a tuesday and i'm sure the staff wanted to go home, still very friendly even then!
we went last night for date night, we just walked in at around 9.20 and they were still open luckily. I was still recovering from a hangover and couldn’t drink my cocktail but got my partner to finish it off, he said it was lovely. Has a tomato garlic bread started and it was delicious. I had a margarita pizza and my partner had the spaghetti carbonara - both were also amazing. Service was great, we were sat next to two ‘doctors’ who were not the nicest of people and were just plain rude to the staff (you can always tell who’s never worked in a restaurant). Overall it was wonderful, if we ever come back to newcastle we’ll be sure to return.
Gorgeous food at this traditional Italian establishment that apparently has been around for decades, and has retained the same ambience
We were looked after by the gorgeous Marie-Angela who made the evening a lot of fun.
We all had the steak with mushroom sauce for mains and it was divine - meat cooked perfectly with some mild seasoning, and a delicious creamy mushroom sauce we were licking off the plate afterwards. Desserts were lovely too, and my friend really loved trying a proper cannoli
Portions are generous, the environment is cosy but bright; and I love the old wall paintings. I adore that this place hasn't succumbed to the Instagram/trendy aesthetic and has retained its unique charm and warmth.
Highly recommend
