Great staff and great food! Friday and Saturday nights are the best they have a DJ and the place gets Packed nice to see a local bar do soo well!
We were there for the gold cup at Cheltenham Friday.great atmosphere.packed as always.
Great pub and good staff
Great bar, brilliant for watching sport. Lovely pint, great prices and food is spot on. A small criticism, someone near the bar had really bad body odour, i was having to hold my breath to get a drink. If it was a customer nothing much they can do about that.
A pub on the main road with limited parking at the front. If you're after a good peaceful drink go in the door on the right at the front of the pub. You'll walk into like a little lounge with maybe half a dozen tables, go to the left and you'll enter a huge bar area. The bar itself basically in the middle with service from all sides. An area in one corner for a pool table, another separate area for darts. From were I was sitting I counted 8 TVs including the one behind me, with the sound off and music playing to suit everyone. A very popular all round pub by the way it filled up while we were there. Possibly a beer garden at the rear.
A good place to watch a game, play pool and darts, or to just grab a bite to eat. Every booth has its own little TV too so you won't have to strain your neck to watch Newcastle score a goal.
I was in the bridal path on Sunday with a small group of friends , found the bar staff really friendly excellent service , Andrew and Vicky behind the bar especially, cracking pub for all ages and some friends had food brenda was so lovely couldn’t do enough well done to you all :-) xx we will return soon .
Just went to meet an old friend I tending to move around Whickham but stayed all night I the bridle path. Good atmosphere and plenty of seats.
Called in for a quick drink. Cozy atmosphere, chilled vibe
Good quality beers, plenty of seats and tables, and decent staff. Sometimes lacks a bit of atmosphere but it's not a bad place to watch football and racing
This is a friendly pub with some good ales and a nice menu of very good value food. They use a Carolina Reaper chilli sauce. Great with cauliflower "wings" which you can get in different sizes up to a 1kg bucket! You can also have it on a burger. The landlord is nice and will give you a warm welcome. The pub is pretty large so it is usually no problem getting a table. It is all open plan so feels very spacious.
Visited The Bridle Path Pub for the first time and was really impressed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. A great pub if you are wanting to watch sport and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again.
Nice place to come with friends and have drinks.
Spacious and friendly staff.
I enjoyed the Sunday roast.
