Bourbon & Broad

We have been here a few times, for brunch and lunch. Considering how much it seems like a generic sports/country bar on the surface, I am always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The menu isn't complicated or fancy or even very big, but they do what they do very well. I really appreciate that they do the small things right, like perfectly toasting the sandwich bread so that it's flavorful, but not dry and hard. Or seasoning the homefries so well that you don't have to doctor them once they get to the table. Brunch is new for them, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-2. I highly recommend it, and hope they continue it!

I have never been treated so rudely as I was at this dive bar. Parking is atrocious to say the least. After 25 minutes circling the block I finally got a street parking spot. After getting to the door and being carded, (I'm 59) I misplaced my drivers license and the door blockers said NO ONE gets in without ID. I had already dropped off my wife and daughter in law 25 min ago or I would have left. My nieces 21st birthday party was in the back and the idiots charged me 5 bucks cover when no one else in our large group paid. Rude, crude and if the Fire Marshall would have been there that nite they would've been shut down. I witnessed underage drinking and people sneaking in the rear entrance. Nothing good will come of this place. A real hole of a bar.Don't waste your money.
