Gourmet Chili

This is a long time local favorite hidden gem that you should make the effort to come across the river or across town to come visit the prices are very economical they only accept cash so bring your money but not your card. I wish they were on Uber eats or doordash this would be a fantastic place for a ghost kitchen to increase their sales I highly recommend you stop by and try the chili or the steak dinner they are both fantastic.

Who sells chili spaghetti, breakfast, cod, and gyros all under one roof? This place. We walked in and was greeted by one of the most amazing waitresses I've come across. We told her we had never been there before and she quickly explained the menu and let us know what was the go to items. We ordered 3 entrées and all were on point. First the breakfast. The special for a whole $6bucks! Goetta, 3 eggs, toast, and home fries(hasbrowns/fried potatoes) the Goetta was new to me and was similar to sausage but has a different texture but still very good. They had some of their hot sauce at the table and that added a whole nother level of flavor to the breakfast dish. Second was thier Super Gyro(double meat). My expectations were not high as I could not understand how they could add such an item to an already long list of items, but hey, they did! This was very delicious and was actually one of my favorite gyros I have had! I will say the super gyro is unnecessary as it has to much meat to pick up, fold in half, and eat. Just order the regular and save a few bucks. The last item we had to try was this chili spaghetti that we are finding out is one of Cincinnatis famous dishes. The resturant also had the word chili in their name, how could we go wrong. Again, deeelish!!! Still had the brown sugar flavor like skyline, but a little more subtle. Noodles were a little wet for my liking but I can overlook this. The chili sauce was added and actually tasted excellent as well! I will be back here when I get a chance! Went here by accident, didn't pay attention and thought we were walking into a different establishment. Happy surprise! Our food was great. My wife and I split a pair of Cheese Coneys and a HUGE Turkey/Ham double-decker. The place is like the old diners I would go to with my grandparents. It had a comfortable and nostalgic feel to it. Will definitely return.

First of all This place is CASH only keep it in mind. I ordered their breakfast special came with tasty home fries, 3 eggs and a choice of meat that I asked for steak, everything was great the employees were friendly and their outdoor seating was awesome. The only issue I had was it took 45 minutes for me to get my food but the quality and freshness of ingredients make me to give full 5 star. Definitely will come back
