Cans in today for a breakfast with my partner . The owner who served us was such a lovely man , and couldn’t be more helpful , breakfast and jacket potato was very reasonably priced . The only one thing if I was very picky would be the sausages being cooked a bit more and the beans ( cheaper options which are better ) but other than that absolutely would return all home made bread and cakes . And again such a lovely welcome 🙏

Can never grumble about my breakfast here. Easily the best in the city and quite happy to modify it for you.... I don't eat hash browns so I have an extra egg etc. The fried bread is to die for and both their toast and fried bread is made from freshly baked loaves.
When I'm in a rush a bacon and egg roll fills the belly!

Brilliant bought cake for my partner's 60th birthday everything was perfect owners couldn't do enough to help.

Great fried breakfast for very little money; never tried the bakery produce but it looks good.
Staff are friendly and down to earth - a proper traditional greasy spoon cafe!
If I had one criticism it would be that it often closes late morning - probably why it took me so long to eat here during my 5 year tenure 2 mins walk away!
Well worth a visit as long as you're an early riser though..
