Golden Chips Takeaway

These are hands down the winner of the 'worst chips in Norwich' award I reckon! Does anyone rate chips like the Fry Up Inspector rates fry ups? If so they should warn people away from these abysmal excuse for chips. They were literally not cooked! Hard bits, anemic and somehow, horrifically chewy!! I mean me, and my friends have genuinely had quite a good laugh about how you have managed to mess chips up this badly! Are you trying to mess with people? Because this experience has genuinely traumatised us. People don't go here!! (It's hilarious how bad it is but honestly, jokes aside I would never set foot in here again after my experience tonight.)

Work down the road to them, Purchased a few times each time the chips are horrible quality, battered sussage I have taken back as not cooked properly. I thought this is a one off but same story few weeks later. There excuse was the chap was new who was cooking. Before it was taken over the people who ran it before where really great and lovely, the food tasted good, but sadly not any more.

Worst chips I've ever had, too soggy, large proportion of them uncooked or cold. Tried desperately hard to finish them but they were too unappetising. No flavour and soulless, also poor service and ignored our request for scraps. I would equate my experience with these chips to being hit by a train of disappointment and woe.

Now this chip shop has been taken over. It is now officially the worst place I have ever had food from and iv eaten some bad food in my time. This place makes eating hospital food seen like a meal at the ritz. I wouldn't feed this to a dead dog. This food must be like what I imagine prison food to be like or worse. Do your stomach a favour and go to Stafford St chipy. My mistake was it was closed tonight so bought from here. My stomach and tongue has divorced me.

Very poor! Asked for large chips close to closing time and received something that looked smaller than a small portion. Also asked for some Mayo in which was given garlic mayo and when requesting for it to be swapped the lady just poored some normal mayo on the top! Also the chips were cold and I was still changed full whack.
