The Tamarind Thai Restaurant

The food is okay! Just the business is not so professional because it’s a restaurant for food but you have a massage in one corner of the restaurant, and you have your own staff sitting at the restaurant or eating. Lastly like today we walked by and you are closed for what reason?! Feels like it for personal occasions most the time and not for actual business for customers

This beautiful place, serves the most amazing aromatic Thai food, the umami, the ambience was amazing. Our waiter was attentive, polite, and a magnificent exponent of customer service and really helped build the magnificent occasion it was last night. Onto the food, we shared a vegetarian platter full of lovely food for starter which was gorgeous: noteworthy inclusions are the vegetable spring rolls with a crunchy peanut satay dip, and the corn cakes, and tofu sticks which were scrumptiously delicious. The mains were of equal niceness, my darling partner had cashew nut stir fry with tofu, and I had a mock duck of the same one, cooked to perfection with sides of beautifully sticky coconut rice, and a pad Thai the size of a small country. This was an excellent meal, yummy and gorgeous. I will return to the great establishment, for more of the same.

Amazing restaurant. Friendly owner with a relax, cozy atmosphere. Good place for gathering. Never regretted to dine in here. The price is reasonable. We had a bursting flavour Beef Green Curry (£11.95) and PAD KRA PAO PLA (Seabasd topped with stir fried chilli etc. - £16.95). We ordered their signature THAI MILK TEA(£3.95). They also provide 10% off for student (Don't forget to bring along your student card.) #Best.

Ordered from this restaurant through Deliveroo, initially advertised as 30-50 minutes for delivery. 3 hours later, no food has arrived & no one answers the phone. Deliveroo (after 3 hours) marked the delivery as having arrived, but it certainly wasn’t delivered to us. The food here may be amazing but I’ll never know.
