Nice and roomy store with lots of variety and options. I'd say it sits on the cheaper side of the scale.
It's got plenty of self-checkout counters, so it's very rare that you would have to wait.
Plenty of parking spaces too.
Overall great!

Great variety of products and the clothing section is brilliant.
Had to use the toilets and they were awful ... hadn't been cleaned. The dryers had a thick layer of dust on them.

Really disappointed Sainsbury's have closed their cafés as it was an easy day out with a friend, where we could do clothing shop as well as food and have a good lunch too. I love Tu clothing and this store has a really good amount of reasonably priced items. Lovely clean store and helpful staff too.

A decent size store, with a wide range of items, clothing, food, cards, and an Argos.
Unfortunately, they've got rid of their in store Pharmacy, which was extremely useful as I live near by.
Also, they have shut their Cafe upstairs permanently too.

Easy to park. Got everything on my list using Smart Shop so I could see my total as I shopped plus picked up quite a few things at Nectar prices.

Needed 3 specific bottles of wine for my sister and found all of them with the help of the excellent staff. Cheapest was 8 pounds . Total was 30 pounds which was a pleasant surprise.

Stayed 2 nights. Very good. Very convenient for passengers using Stansted Airport or bus station.

Decent mid size supermarket. Has occasional stock issues, but a reasonable range of items.

I was incredibly pleased with the Sainsbury's employee in this store who clearly recognised my youthful looks as it was the first time I'd ever been ID checked for alcohol. Additionally, this Sainsbury's had the greatest variety of produce of any Sainsbury's I've visited recently. A truly five star shopping experience.

The Sainsbury's on the Oxford ring road is a decent store, large enough to carry a wide variety of products. Unfortunately, the online purchasing experience is utterly abysmal - orders not delivered, wrong items substituted with no explanation, and zero customer service. So if you want to use Sainsbury's, you'll need to go to a physical store as their online option is a complete catastrophe - the worst I've ever experienced.

Sainsbury,s is a brilliant store, but the Gents toilets are in a bad state of repair, and the smell of urine is overwhelming. Come on, Sainsburys, sort this out please.

Well presented tidy store with shelves full of goodies.
Wide range of clothing too.

This is handy if you live nearby and there is a pedestrian walkway through from the nearby estate (not advisable after dark!). The road out can be awkward at times (really needs traffic lights!) but a nice average sized supermarket. They have a small range of kids clothes and toys, along with books, CD's, DVDs etc and loads of lovely chocolate! Best time to go is around 7pm when they put reductions out in the cold area and the bread section (they have a bread slicer!).
They have the usual sainsburys offers but these tend to sell out quickly and especially the alcohol which take a while for restocking.
There is also an instore chemist and the usual toiletries - own brand is well worth trying.
Staff are friendly and queues not usually too bad

This is the mother of all Sainsbury's on the ring road and is great for blitzing a fortnightly or weekly shop. There's plenty of parking and cash machines outside, and inside is enormous by Oxford standards. As well as all the different food ranges (you get the whole lot here from Basics to Taste the Difference), there are some bits of clothing and essentials like umbrellas and household equipment and electronics. However, like most supermarkets, they're not experts in this area, and better deals can usually be found elsewhere if you shop around. I came in here looking for an umbrella, but they had sold out of their cheap ones and the others were quite pricey. I ended up getting one from a corner shop for £2.99.
My favourite part of this Sainsbury's is the salad Pick'n'Mix. You select a plastic tub and fill it with pasta salad, potato salad, fried bread, cherry tomatoes, couscous, beansa whole variety of yummy salad goodies. You can cram a surprising amount into even the smaller tubs, then eat it for lunch with the plastic forks they provide, or take it home to accompany a meal later. Definitely a healthier alternative than fast food, and a darn sight cheaper too.

One of two larger Sainsbury's on the outskirts of Oxford, you definitely need a car to get to and from here. They have an excellent sandwich, salad range; as well as a full range of food, toiletries and even some clothes, electronics. Beware coming this way at or close to rush hour, the roads will be jam packed. There is also a petrol station.

Unlike the other reviewers, Im not keen on this store.
I always think it seems a bit scruffy, and run down.
Having said that, I do like the pick and mix salad as mentioned by another reviewer, and the small selection of clothes they stick are usually quite nice and reasonably priced.
The road to this sainsburys gets very busy at certain times of day, so you need to time your visit carefully so you dont get stuck in traffic!
