Great location and fantastic choice of drinks, cakes and light food. It’s in a beautiful spot, ideal for a stop off when walking in Rosedale. We were lucky enough to sit out in the garden and enjoy the views.

To say the tea room is picturesque is an understatement! The tea room is well placed to have breathtaking views, regardless of what the weather is doing! We found the tea room via their Shepherds Hut - available via Pitchup - and both our lovely and well worth a visit. Situated on a walking trail, it is well worth stopping to catch your breath and have a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed!

A fabulous little tea room at the head of Rosedale, with absolutely breathtaking views. The food was lovely, and freshly made from locally sourced ingredients. It was that good, I left with a bag of pastries & scones. I will definitely be returning.

My favorite coffee stop when we in the area. Its run by two very nice, caring and cheerful ladies, serving good coffee and cake, which is always diffrent and always delicious. The place its inviting and clean. Not very big inside but there is a lot of seating space outside, with some good views to enjoy. Also selling local produce like Simon's Honey. Love it! ❤️

We went there over Easter holidays 2022 and this has to be the best tea garden in the world! The food is delicious and the views are unparalleled. The staff are wonderful, too. (The place is so special I’m almost reluctant to tell anyone about it, but that’s unfair, so …..)

A gem of a cafe with a gorgeous setting both inside and out. The owner is super friendly and gave us some great suggestions for our drive north which we thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee and scones were delicious.

Superb cakes baked in-house. Coffee and tea all excellent and so are the staff. Extremely friendly, laid back atmosphere. The perfect way to unwind and replenish your energy after undertaking some of the excellent walks in the area. Highly recommended and we'll be visiting again soon.

Stayed here in the Shepherds Hut through Pitch Up. You have to go along a proper country road to get there, but oh it's worth it. Maggie was on hand to guide us through everything at the hut and how covid had changed things. She had left short bread in the hut ready to have with a cup of tea, it was amazing. She suggested walking routes, which we did on the second day, they were stunning. Each morning Maggie brought out our breakfast, every day it was fantastic - I should have asked her if she was a chef.... She truly made us feel welcome and looked after. Looking forward to going back.
