I had the special curry it was fantastic with peshwari nans they gave me a chefs special free with poppadoms and chutneys I was so over the moon thank you I live on the barbican so I'm coming once a week to be spoilt

First time at the eastern eye recently & thoroughly enjoyed it, the decor is a bit OTT (it’s looks like a cross between an nightclub, laser tag arena & an LSD trip) but the food was excellent & the service was very good, it was a bit on the pricey side but the portion size & tastiness of the meal made it vfm, will definitely revisit.

Love coming here, we go as and when we can! Our favourite Indian restaurant. Callum and his team are lovely and I did notice they gave out food to a homeless person, which i thought was the sweetest thing. Welldone guys! Amazing work and service! 👏

Especially Indian people whos looking for some spicy food in and around plymouth can definitely try this.
The staff and hospitality was great and loved the way they treat their customers.
Comparatively the rates are bit higher but i would say its totally worth paying.
Must try their sugnature dishes for sure..

Wow is the word of the night, this has to be without a doubt the best food & service I have ever experienced, the quality of food was incredible, the amount of flavours you could get from just 1 mouthful was just well amazing, all the food came out piping hot, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, it was nice & relaxing & nice to have a long conversation at the end of the meal which was good as I was full & couldn’t move, I noticed on a few occasions homeless people outside & callum the owner gave them meals & after I asked callum the owner, he said “we give out 30-40 meals at a time for the homeless, what a great man, a community man we need people like this in plymouth we really do.

Me and my partner had an amazing experience at the eastern eye, the food was absolutely amazing with very good portion sizes. It’s such a friendly atmosphere and a special thanks to russle, he made our evening extra special with his services! Definitely Recommend

My girlfriend and I went into the Eastern Eye this evening for a takeaway. It was around 5:30pm so nobody was there yet. But the gentleman waiting was so kind! He was patient whilst we made our choices and even said if it wasn’t on the menu, they’ll happily make anything for us.
We got our food and the gentleman said he added extras in there for us! He was so nice!
The food was absolutely delicious! Normally onions bhaji are really greasy but these weren’t at all, kormas are so sweet, rice is amazing and the Bombay potatoes he added for free were the best we’ve ever had! In fact the whole meal was the best Indian we’ve both ever had!
Definitely recommend going to the eastern eye! The restaurant has such a comfortable atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming! We will definitely be returning!

Great service by Russel and his female colleague.
Food is really lovely. My dhansak B had great depth of flavour, full of whole spices and citrus.
A delicious Muttar Paneer made special aswell.
Whilst it is not your traditional ENGLISH Indian style, it certainly is home cooked, fresh, made to order with love and care. Have an open mind. You will not be disappointed.
I had chicken tikka dhansak, muttar paneer, special rice, and a garlic naan with one small coke. This cost £39 which is very very expensive and was the only let down. I actually think it was a bill mistake that I didn’t realise until I left.
I will return and I recommend giving it a go.
Speaking with the chef and him explaining the menu and how it’s cooked fresh with love and attention made my visit extra special.
