Downtown Diner Coffee Shop

We came by this place yesterday with friends, first time I have been in here. Atmosphere is great, food was delicious, staff were friendly and I had my first Roobios latte! Also cakes here are great and everything is Vegan. Great little gem hidden in the West end of Plymouth. Will be going back at the first opportunity. Great to see things like this opening up in the city. Do take opportunity to visit this place, you will not be dissapointed!

Powet Plant has long been my favourite vegan cafe. Not just my favourite vegan cafe in Plymouth, I mean anywhere! Incredible selection of fresh, flavoursome and hearty sandwiches. Excellent cakes and sweet treats. Great teas, coffees, matcha and selected cold drinks like juices and kombucha. They also stock art and lil things from local makers which is fantastic, along with coffee equipment and vegan snacks and foods! Chapeau Power Plant xx

Been waiting for a long time to go here and it wasn't a disappointment. Fabulous range of sandwiches, drinks and cakes,all vegan. Shop is an added bonus too Had the salt beef pretzel and raspberry lemonade and both were stunning Would highly recommend Went back to find the cafe hugely expanded and most of the shop gone. Excellent coffee, it seems like one of the only very few decent/artisan options in Plymouth according to Google Maps photos/reviews!! No dairy milk but that's to be expected since it's a vegan place. Had a decaf coconut latte instead, always a bit hesitant when I'm asked whether I want small or large, but I went for the large. It was a good strength, most importantly the coconut milk hadn't been scalded which meant it was still slightly sweet, good texture, coffee tasted really good too. Staff were really friendly, decor was very cool (think urban jungle vibes), would definitely bring any vegan friends/family here when in Plymouth.
