They are an authentic Chinese restaurant specializing in traditionally prepared Sichuan Spicy Dishes. It's run by experienced Chinese cooks who genuinely honor the unique and strong flavor of Sichuan food. I have often eaten at this restaurant, the most similar dining experience I had in China. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves traditional Chinese food and wants to experience real Sichuan food for the first time.

Sat in and ate in the restaurant, 10/10. Bao buns were great and fresh, the pork filling had great flavour. The egg fried rice tasted great and was filling. 5⭐️

This is very unassuming little cafe/restaurant, but their food is excellent. The staff are really nice. And their great food is very reasonably priced. I'd totally recommend it. Hey! And there portions are really generous. Go there!

There's always a lot of chinese takeout/restaurants around town however Lucky Star has stood out to me as being of good quality when me and my girlfriend went in. The food they served us was prepared from when we ordered so nothing was premade, and everything felt authentic. I would recommend the Kung Pow Chicken and any of the fried rices(we had king prawn). Amazing, will go again with my friends soon

You can always tell that it's a proper Chinese restaurant if there are Chinese people eating there. This was a lovely authentic Chinese meal, very nice family run restaurant with huge portions of food at reasonable prices. Some of the food served may not be to Western taste but there are plenty of familiar dishes too. One portion of rice and one of noodles is enough for 4! So don't over order. You can take the leftovers away if you like. I would definitely eat here again.
