I may be a little bias about this establishment as I have been frequently , but, the service is excellent the food, when food is on, is of generous portions and very tasty the staff are very friendly and helpful and when live music is on it is has a very lively atmosphere

Wanted to go somewhere local to watch the England v USA group match in Qatar 2022. Local pub with local atmosphere and brilliant staff who were so accommodating. Not too many in which made the experience so much better with no hassle. Good food to boot! Only so sorry the boot was not as good as the food! Thank you all so very much!

Been a Portsmouth fixture for many years and it has evolved with the times. Lovely pub, open mic Mondays and a basic but great menu. Highly recommended.
FYI. Food is not served on Tuesday and Wednesday

A lovely pub, the chef is brilliant and the bar staff lovely. It's good for a drink and also food. Went for a roast and it was incredibly good, so much food! The gravy was made with meat juices and really elevated the whole thing. Brilliant value for money!
