After calling in on a busy Wednesday evening for a drink and supper, we were extremely surprised by the level of service. The pub, inside and out, was extremely busy, clearly they were short staffed, yet Sam, especially, went over and above to make sure everyone there was looked after in a caring, professional and thoughtful manner. We have never seen anyone work so hard, yet so enthusiastic and engaging. Thank you Sam, you are brilliant… that’s all we can say!!! The Royal Oak in Prestbury is very lucky to have you …ps .. the food was excellent…

We had our wedding reception here and had the most amazing time! The staff were so accommodating and they did an amazing job with the table decorations. Such a fantastic place - I’d recommend to anyone. Thank you to everyone there!

Great food and experience as usual after day at the races. Top notch food. Only improvement would be if someone could have called us a cab as in previous years. We were just given a number and we did struggle after a few beers to arrange two that were needed!
