The food was excellent but the furnishing is getting shabby now. Staff are very good and service of food excellent . We were well looked after .

Found out from my friends this gem of a pub and decided to visit, wow what a wonderful experience..
Not only was the food superb but the management and staff were so attentive and I felt that they really wanted to make our visit memorable..
Plenty to offer on the menu and I have also seen the Sunday roasts since and they look so delicious….
Would thoroughly recommend !!

The food was very good. We had the Sunday roasts. But, unfortunately it was not hot ! Which spoilt things a bit. Also, it seemed very short staffed and therefore the wait for our meal was lengthy. Also we ordered a couple of side dishes that never turned up! We didn’t bother asking for them because we’d already waited ages for our meal, which, as I said, previously, was not very hot !

I had checked the online menus before our visit. I was going to order Chicken & Mushroom Pie, but this did not appear on the printed menus in the pub. This was not a big issue, as I was able to choose an alternative. All staff at the pub were lovely and helpful, the service was great and the food (and drink) was excellent.

Always get excellent service here. Had an excellent afternoon today for my Dad’s birthday. Quick service and the food was superb. Really good Kid’s menu too, plenty of variety, our 2.5 year old was very happy with her chicken, chips and peas, and ice lolly for dessert. Will be back soon!

Enjoyed our lunch, food was lovely and very reasonably priced. However we did have a long wait but no problem as we were in no hurry. Atmosphere ok with music playing softly in background and comfortable seating area, although a bit on the dark side. Waitress was very friendly. We ordered at the bar and did not use the App. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Came down on a Friday evening for the first time. Staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back again.

This is our local pub and we enjoy coming here. Food is good pub grub, service is good also. We were here Thursday for a 60th meal, and had a really great night.
