The Laughing Pear

Stumbled across the laughing pear - service was polite and nice food served quickly. The lunch options were good, with the ham egg and chips being really nice! Chocolate strawberry brownie was perfect as well - gooey but not undercooked - and miraculously, not microwaved! Theres a slight smell in the air in the area, but we didn't notice it at all once we were in the restaurant. Great overall!

This review is for a buffet catered for my daughter’s wedding reception. First of all, Katie is lovely and easy to talk to. We told her what we wanted and asked for recommendations that she thought would suit. We sorted everything out quickly and were happy with all our choices. She made it really easy. On the evening they arrived on time to deliver food, nipped in and out of venue really quickly after laying everything out perfectly and asking whether we wanted food unwrapped or left for a while. We had no idea what the food would be like, only going by recommendations. The food was excellent, could not be faulted in any way, and with so much of everything and such good quality with high standards. Everyone at the wedding commented on how good it was compared to many buffet receptions and asked for their contact details. So thank you Katie and all of your Laughing Pears😂. We would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone. You made it a night to remember for all of us💜 Daryl

We ordered the cold buffet for a birthday get together and the food was delicious! What a fantastic service. The guy who brought it was lovely and helpful as well. Everyone loved the food and there was plenty for everyone. We’ll definitely use you again and I think you will gain a few more customers! Hayley x

Thank you so so much to Katie and the team! We chose the Laughing Pear to cater for my dads 60th birthday - what a brilliant decision! There was 70 people to cater for and more than enough food! Katie was so lovely and helpful and always ready to answer any questions I had. They were very attentive to dietary requirements and made separate dishes for those who were gluten free or had allergens. Would definitely recommend to anyone, we will most certainly be using them again!
