One of the best breakfasts I have had and served all day. The tapas options are pretty stunning too! I’ve tried most of the menu but the eggs royale on a croissant is something quite special and I’m addicted. Only tiny criticism would be to offer other bread types as I personally don’t love soda bread - but that’s a personal preference

Absolutely love the Pantiles. Variety of pubs, excellent food on offer. Absolute shame about the Jazz nights which used to free and open to everyone now fenced off, charged to go in, so give that a miss as it really spoils things.

The go to the area in Tunbridge Wells. This little stretch of space includes a number of high end and local restaurants/cafes. It reminds me a little of European market areas with an abundance of outdoor seating. Great vibes on a nice summer's day! (Don't get much of those) The people here seem relaxed and not in a hurry like London! The markets are worth a look, From fresh fruit and veg to unique plants. Come here early to avoid disappointment if you want a seat! People will sit here for hours!

Lovely spot, friendly service and we didn't feel rushed. Perfect brunch spot. All our food was yummy (except the French toast, as they had run out of compote and the panini was ok). Would recommend these: English Breakfast + Boerewors Buddha bowl Truffle Mushroom Brunch Eggs Wilhelm Coffee was great too and came in mugs.

The best part of Tunbridge Wells! Historic and nice quirky independent shops. Don't visit on a Monday though as a lot of places are closed.

The Pantilles in Tunbridge Wells is such a charming and captivating place. It reminds me of a small Parisian street, with tons of great dining options, high-end shopping, and all sorts of markets and activities to check out. It really embodies the essence of the town.

I visited this cafe fort the first time a couple of weekends back as I always walk past it but never get the opportunity to sit in and eat. When I walked through the door I was greeted with warm smiles by the lovely staff and was seated immediately. The menu consisted of mainly breakfast/brunch items and from dishes served to other customers they looked and smelt delightful. I opted for something a bit different from the usual brunch items and went for flat bread topped with baba ghanoush [a spread/dip of finely chopped/mashed roasted aubergines, olive oil, lemon juice, various seasonings, and tahini] with roasted veg and cheese, the portion size was generous and the dish was a delight to eat. I wanted to also sample something else so set the flat bread aside and ordered a boerewors sausage sourdough sandwich - this is a type of sausage which originated in South Africa, the name is derived from the Afrikaans words boer ("farmer") and wors ("sausage")... The sausage itself was very meaty and just what one expects from a good sausage sarnie. All in all it was a very pleasurable experience with lovely attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

Very upmarket chic Georgian shopping centre consisting of independent businesses. There are a range of shops here including pubs, cafes, art galleries, craft and pet shops. Signage from railway station is poor but you exit and turn right. Its about 5-10 minutes. Worth a visit for the experience but as others have said it can be pricey.
