An older hotel. Could do with updating. My room was spotless and the staff are incredible. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was very good. Understand why so many tradesmen use it.

Beautiful old building. Enormous room, WiFi. Full English breakfast is included. Stayed four days. Fifteen minute walk from the train station. But uphill. Take the bus. Ask for Victoria stop. Walk west five minutes. Tap credit card on bus.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Location is central and stores, restaurants and pub are walking distance. It's not modern but cozy place to be. I will stay there again. if we book directly, they are cheaper than other third party. checkout their website.

A nice place for a getaway as we visited for our 25th wedding anniversary as we stayed here on our wedding night.

This hotel was in great shape. My room was huge with bathroom and shower, a separate small kitchen unit, basic breakfast, polite staff. Enjoyed staying in here.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, was great to have the kitchenette with a full fridge.
My wife loved the bathroom which had been updated.
The breakfast was really ample sausage was great only a very minor problem the bacon a little too salty for us.

Ctant fault the room. Stayed in the annex building. Room was big, had smart TV, sofa, comfy bed, good WiFi and a phone. Room also has a little kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle in a large cupboard. Bathroom was very good, deep bath and separate shower with large enclosure. Everything looked freshly refurbished. Staff member that greeted us was very friendly. Basically in the middle of town so easy access for Town centre.

Nice hotel. Spacious character room & bathroom. Clean & well appointed room with lots of electric sockets, hairdryer etc. Room had a musty smell on arrival but this went after the windows were opened. Maybe a room scent defuser would help. Enjoyable plentiful breakfast.
