Konak Authentic Turkish Cuisine

I have now been to this restaurant 6 times over the last few months, it has become my favourite place to go for consistently good food. Service is fantastic, as I finished my drink another arrived. My wife didn't like one of the dishes, it was replaced with something else within seconds at no extra charge. It's lovely going to a local, non-chain restaurant and seeing the same faces each time for a warm welcome. Also, I'm 6"3 and always find restaurant chairs a tad uncomfy, except here, all the chairs are comfy and all different to make a lovely atmosphere. Have the mixed grill, it's amazing. Also I think they make their own bread, it's so nice, almost glazed, warm with hummus is so good!

My girlfriend and I, we had a perfect dinner with very delicious food, great Turkish wine and some refreshing cocktails. We had a mix hot meze and some cold meze, just perfectly done followed by 2 of the classic dishes from Turkey. Powerfull taste and delicious. The manager offered us a great service and was very attentive. The decor and ambiance really relaxing and magic. Thank you to the Kitchen team offering the highest food quality and Management team for the best service and maintenance of the restaurant at a high standard.

Best Turkish in Tunbridge Wells by far! Had the Ali Nazik and it was absolutely incredible. However, surprisingly the real star of the shiw for me was the bread; which packed huge flavour whilst avoiding being too thick like most Turkish breads. My only criticism is the use of plastic straws and drinks stirers. Please replace with paper straws!

Went to this restaurant on Saturday evening the decoration is incredible and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was full so we had to wait half an hour to get a table should of booked really but the barman looked after us with a few different cocktails while we waited and then we got our table. The meze was delicious and very fresh. We had mix grill for main and the meat was cooked to perfection and was very succulent tasted amazing. Staff were great cant reccomend this restaurant enough have to try it best in town by far.

Our first visit to the newly refurbished Konak and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and such great value for money. The new decor looks great and creates a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to try again.
