Outstanding food, wonderful staff and - quite simply - an all round 'hidden gem'. If you're in Salisbury, and want a proper curry, you won't go far wrong here. Fantastic restaurant.

Being greated by the warming aroma of incense sets a mood of relaxation and enjoyment. Kathmandu Kitchen is truly a lovely restaurant with fantastic Nepalese food. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff that go the extra mile to make the dining experience a memorable one. I had the Tarka Dall which has become my favourite. An absolutely delicious Vegan dish that I highly recommend.

I visited with a friend who had just returned from Nepal. He said the food served was as good or in places better than he was having in Nepal. The staff are very friendly and keen to help and advise. The food is incredible and the veggie selection is great. I had a Kathmandu Paneer curry. If you don't finish it, they are happy to box it all up for you to take home. Absolutely brilliant and will definitely be back.

Copied from my Trip Advisor review: This place is the best in town for your curry desires. Their Kathmandu chicken curry is perfectly seasoned with generous portions of chicken. Infact, everything you can order there comes in generous portions at a very reasonable price. The food is exactly what it says on the menu, so if you are expecting a mild curry, you will get a mild curry; if you are expecting a hot curry, you can bet you'll get a hot curry! The place is busy inside and it creates a really lovely atmosphere. The family owners relish this and I highly recommend getting to know them as they are all amazing people. The hospitality is immediately obvious whether you are a new customer or old, with complimentary treats. Can't recommend people to go here enough.

Visited in August and loved it. Quieter than other places on the night and not sure why, the owners are so friendly and welcoming chating away to me and my family remembering my daughters names which was a nice touch. Food is amazing, there is cheaper out there but this was clean and welcoming venue, non greasy food served with great attention and detail and very very tasty. I had a green chilli curry and like wow, blew my head off, rice and nann calmed it down perfect ! Well recommended and not far from the railway station and local pubs. I would go back as it offers something different if you love spicy food. The decor of the pub was bright and cheery and we got complementary Bailey's at the end of our food with hot towels as well. Lovely.

Last night my wife and I went out for a meal here along with my dad and my brother. We've ordered delivery from them before so we knew the food was exceptionally good and that there were plenty of Vegan options. We were instantly met by very friendly and attentive staff, noticing the real family atmosphere of a locally run business. Raj the owner was particularly charming along with his beautiful wife. We had poppadoms to start accompanied by some beers although just a water for me. This moved on to some delicious homemade vegetable spring rolls accompanied by a delicious selection of dips. My favourite being the tomato jam looking one. With 2 vegans a veggie and one carnivore our order became: King Prawns, Mushroom Bahjee, Sag Aloo and the most exquisite Nepalese daal. The couple of non vegans shared a cheese naan and we also ordered rice and some chips to go along with the meal. All four of us were blown away by the service and atmosphere and it wasn't long before we were sitting back in our chairs bellies very full. I highly recommend this Kathmandu Kitchen and we will most certainly be returning again. Thank you Raj and your wonderful family too!

Our first experience of this takeaway having recently moved to the area. Recommended on a local Facebook page and we weren’t disappointed in any way. The food arrived on time, was hot, fresh and utterly delicious. We can particularly recommend the mixed platter starter, Gurkha Lamb, Kathmandu Chicken and vegetable curry. Ordering online was simple and the confirmation email gave an indication of wait time - delivery was a few minutes earlier than expected and Raj took the time and effort to introduce himself which was great. A really good experience all round and would highly recommend - looking forward to our next one already.
