Amazing restaurant in a beautiful church that was done over. inside is gorgeous and romantic and the food Rises up to the occasion. If you don't want to sit In the dining room near the fireplace, you can sit atthe beautiful bar. Pictured is the tuna tartar and their amazing lobster gnocci!

We had the distinct pleasure of dining at Belfry Inn and Bistro this evening! This was the BEST culinary experience we have experienced on the Cape! The beautiful setting in an old church, a lovely table by the fireplace, EXCEPTIONAL service, and delicious food! Appetizers, pear tart, pork belly, foie gras, and lobster gnocchi in order of rating. The pear tart was a special and truly exquisite! I would skip the lobster gnocchi next time. Butter lettuce salad, out of this world! Entrees; swordfish, duck, lamb wellington, and short ribs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and two of us had leftovers after indulging on the extraordinary appetizers. Desserts; chocolate tart, lemon sorbet, and profiteral. All equally delicious! Cocktails were excellent and the wines that were recommended with our entrées paired perfectly and were excellent! A pleasant surprise for wines by the glass. Expensive, but fairly priced for the quality. If you haven't experienced this gem if a restaurant, put it at the top of your list! An absolutely exceptional dining experience in every aspect! 5 stars!!!

Exceptional meal from start to finish. Outstanding gluten free options. The potato leek crab soup was perfect along with the arugula blackberry mango salad. If you want a memorable dining experience, head to the Belfrey Inn. You will be glad you did.

I attended a small wedding at the Belfrey recently. I live in town and this was my first time here and it will not be my last! The food was delicious and artfully presented by friendly and professional waiters. The ginger carrot soup was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The Scallops over lobster risotto was delicious, but it was heavy on the sauce. The pineapple cheesecake and mango sorbet was incredible and so beautifully presented with fresh berries and caramel. I’m looking forward to coming back and having a drink at the bar, which was formally the altar of this former catholic church.

We went for a birthday dinner. The menu is unique to me and I was initially worried about what to order. Well the amazing waitress was so helpful and happy to explain some items. I had the delicious Lobster bisque. It was fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere was amazing!

First time visitor from out of town. Highly recommended by a friend and family member. The evening was outstanding for my wife and another couple that was dining with us. Our waiter, Jafar, was phenomenal. He made the meal fun, by providing courteous knowledgeable service about both the menu items as well as the history of the in itself - all with an enjoyable sense of humor. He made us feel appreciated as patrons of the restaurant. We shared two appetizers that were delicious: Barata cheese on a tomato, and avocado stuffed with crab meat. for entrées, we enjoyed the ravioli, the salmon, and the seared Aji tuna. Even though we didn’t have room for dessert, we were tempted by and thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, the crème brûlée, and a special chocolate profiterole all of which were delicious. Though we dined on a Sunday night out of season, reservations are strongly recommended. We will definitely return again and highly recommend this venue for both the quality of service and outstanding food.

First of all, the food is superb. I had a squash soup and shrimp and crab cakes, and all were really excellent. My wife had a pistachio salmon, and it was also excellent. The drinks are delicious too. Next, the setting is an old church. The conversion was done respectfully, there are many, many aspects of the church that are still present, including the stained glass and the lovely interior construction. The confessional has been repurposed into a bar and wine rack which I thought was an appropriate touch. Finally, the service is attentive without being obsequious. We were very well cared for, never really had to wait for anything, everyone is polite and efficient and friendly.

We absolutely loved the belfry inn!! We stayed in the Friday room for a mid week staycation and it was everything we ever needed. Very spacious room with a fireplace, balcony, king bed and jacuzzi tub fit for two in a very romantic burgundy room. Very historic with the old church charm that we absolutely adore about the cape. Stained glass feathered everywhere and the restaurant downstairs is absolutely amazing. We could have done with more salt but that's purely preference and they were happy to send it to the table lol. Chris, the owner clearly works very hard and takes pride in the businesses they oversee, he did almost every job possible! That shows he really loves and dies for this place. It's very refreshing to have such fantastic staff and a gorgeous inn with very reasonable prices in such a beautiful location. Will absolutely stay again in the future. Absolutely fantastic.
