Tomatoes Italian Bar & Grille

This is one of the few places that you can always count on getting a great meal, great drinks, and excellent service. I love the atmosphere, and it's such a bonus that there is live entertainment most evenings. We had eggplant rollatine which was velvety and perfect. I ordered the chicken rollatine for dinner, and that was also just delicious! I think because the food is SO good the desserts don't wow me as much as I hope they will, but it doesn't stop me from ordering a sweet. It is obvious the owners really care about consistency, they care about their customers, and it makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

- Food: Recommend the stuffed meatball florentine. The size of the meatball is massive (about the size of a baby's head), and its stuffed with cheese. Enough easily for two grown people. Very tasty and highly recommend. Otherwise have a large menu. - Dessert: The carrot cake slice was massive and very tasty - Seating: It is very nice and spacious inside. Not too casual, but not too fancy either.

I had Tomatoes linguine with clam sauce yesterday and it was phenomenal. The amount of clams you get is far more than any other restaurant I have ever been to. The sauce is light and a perfect compliment to the flavor of the clams. I’ve had this dish in Providence, Bristol RI, the North end, and in NH and Maine, Tomatoes is by far the best!

We went Saturday night for the live entertainment and it was fantastic. The duo, lady and a gentleman, sang a wide variety of songs. Very enjoyable. We went back Sunday for an early dinner and the food was terrific. The lady serving us was pleasant and attentive. The meatballs were to die for and the seafood was delicious.
