This restaurant really did not step on the thunder, the waiter Sal was particularly warm and kind to consider for us, let us use photos to order food, not only to help our fellow people charge, but also finally hit a bottle of hot water for us, really super The food is basically the best Mediterranean restaurant I have eaten since I came to the UK. There are five of us and each person is 21. We recommend lamb chop and yogurt roast I wish Sal all the best and the restaurant is thriving!

We've eaten here several times over the last year, and have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, cooked to order, and delicious. The waiting staff are fantastic and attentive without being over bearing, and we're always made to feel welcome. Absolutely love this place, best restaurant in Scarborough :)

Made to feel welcome and valued customers right from the minute we went through the door. Delicious cocktail and coffee, complementary warm bread, seasoned olives and homemade dips were a nice touch and made us want more. Food was well presented, tender and full of flavour and it was no problem to get a container to take home leftovers. Really loved the complementary Turkish rice pudding too! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Umut is a credit to the restaurant and a wonderfully friendly member of the team.

It is one of the best restaurants in Scarborough. Mouth watering and enticing food, fast service and beautiful interior. The prices are also good (under £20/dish). I have tried chicken kebab, sheesh lamb kebab, pork chops, sirlion steak and chicken sarma beyti along with rice/kuskus/chips. All the meat dishes are bursting with flavours, juicy and tender. Portion size is fulfilling. Moreover they serve free complimentary bread and dips with olives as much as you like. It was my Mediterranean food experience and I loved it! Visited 3 times and would love to visit again! Great space for family, friends or office parties!

Nice place. Looks pretty new, freshly decorated. Good Turkish food, so kebabs, casseroles and salads primarily, with some pasta and token burger options for kids & those who want the same thing everywhere they go. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking the kebabs if you want. Reasonably priced, came to £40 for two courses and two drinks. Service was good, despite us being a party of ten. Would definitely come again

Stumbled upon this gem yesterday and wow, I'm glad I did. The food is absolutely superb! And I don't say this lightly. We were given a small bowl of bread and a side with 2 sauces (chili and tzatziki) with green and black olives. The bread was freshly baked and oh, soft to the touch! A delight to eat before the main course. I ordered the chicken shish and chicken kofta combination. When served, the meats were warm and fragrant and the overall plate presentation was quite good. Cutting into the chicken shish piece, the chicken reveals a juicy inside which was a delight to chew. Almost melt-in-your-mouth experience. The kofta pieces were seasoned well and a treat to eat, too. The great thing about the chicken was it wasn't over oily and each piece was tender to the touch. Needless to say, I took my time and finished the dish, leaving no trace behind. The salad was a lovely addition. I wish I could have asked for more pomegranate seeds! The rice was soft and fragrant, complimenting the chicken very well. I couldn't stop raving about the rice. I would give this experience six stars out of five if I could. I will definitely return again! Thanks to the waiter, Unut, for the warm hospitality and convincing us to try Askim's. ☺️
