We have dined here many times now, and also had takeaway from there too. I genuinely don't remember being disappointed with any of the food we have received from them. When dining in, the staff are always attentive and serve with a smile. Midweek they have a set meal offer on, which is great value.

First time here as we have family in the nearby area. I personally struggled to find a curry suitable for me. Probably because I have my favourite in my local curry house. What I had was nice and tasty. Can't remember what it was. Rest of our party said theirs was really nice. So would have a problem going back when next visiting family. Only issues were we aske for pea pilau rice. They brought pilau. They were quick to rectify the error, so no issue. We sat on a table second in from the door. There was a constant draft being on the main walkway through the restaurant. As it was not too cold outside then not too much an issue. If it had been winter then might have had to put a coat on. Other issue was a table of about a dozen men next to us. We had an issue conversing between our party. Would expect that with the size of other party. Just like being in a large pub. The issue was the bad language they were using. Not all of the but mainly down to 2 individuals. Didn't say anything as we know this can be difficult for the staff to address. Might be better if notices were posted to help. Fortunately we were all adults in at the time. Had I been there with children then the iss would have had to be seriously addressed.

Rocked up tonight at 9-55. The boys were shutting up shop but still took my order…. Madras, Naan , mushroom rice was perfect. Best in Ashby, for years now.

Fab, tasty food, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant, bar, takeaway and home delivery. Takeaway - usual wait for takeaway, the Tandoor oven for cooking the Peshwari bread had gone out and had to be relit and so I waited half an hour, I was offered a drink whilst I waited. Accessibility mixed - heavy front door and slight step in (door sill), however the door is highly visible from the bar and booking area. Staff can open the door and put down a ramp. No toilet for the disabled, independent transfer needed. The restaurant is wheel chair accessible and they can move screens that create more intimate areas for increased accessibility. Car Parking - on road and council car parks near by (2 hours free, make sure you have a ticket. Weekends free, ticket not needed). Allergens - leaflet by the Restaurant, on request behind the bar. Food - my vegetarian, I enjoyed thoroughly, good flavours across the different dishes, my Peshwari Nan stuffing was not skimped on, always a good sign. Vegan food - flexible, you can request other dishes on the menu to be vegan. Off menu - there are some extra dishes or existing dishes can be adapted on request. Bar - alchohol and soft drinks. Price - good, fair value. Toilets - male and female, no disabled toilet.
