Smiles Fish & Chips

Very good food and service but this place has gone off the boil a bit. The prices have increased a lot more than inflation so I don't go as often, £10 for a cod and chips is pricey albeit the fish is quite good. Also I often have to wait ages for chips nowadays whereas I used to not have to wait long.

The best take away Cod and Chips. Always had to wait in line almost round the corner now with click and collect i don't have to wait, so much better. Not to greasy on the chips, alway hot by the time we got home. (5 min drive) batter crispy and fish excellent. My daughter who doesn't eat fish, (she eats everything else) will have fish and chips from Smiles Fish and Chips.

Best fish a chips I've had since my old local in Whitton, been this good for a while apparently (so my parents say) portion sizes are huge and I'm never disappointed. The fish is still nice and crispy which you dint usually get and nice and hot. Staff are all lovely too. Great to see them adapting so well to covid situations. Keep it up guys! Thanks.

Staying with friends nearby so decided to try Smiles on Friday evening. Got there around 18:30 and it was already busy, as predicted, with a small queue forming out of the shop door. Orders we’re being taken as quickly as possible and packaged up as quickly as possible too and in customer order subject to what you were having. The 3 girls seemed to be well coordinated in how they managed orders. Fish was well cooked, nice crispy batter and a very good portion of chips. We had 3 fish and 2 portions of chips and that was plenty. Very good quality.
