stopped off to grab carryout lunch on the way to ontonagon. the pizza was good, fried fishwas pre battered frozen but ok. woul def eat there next time we are on the way through.

We came in here hungry after a morning of exploring the Porcupine Mountains. I had the southwest salad which was a perfect size to be nice and filling without being too heavy. It had a good amount of chicken and other yummy toppings. The kids each had chicken wing baskets and we shared a order of cheese curds. We ate every bit of it.

We stopped here for breakfast after camping at the city campground. We ordered a veggie omelette and a waffle. They have cheese options other than American cheese but you need to ask the server. Food was good quality and delicious, service was friendly and efficient.

Returning home to Minnesota we found a gem in Wakefield, Michigan...just East of 28 & 2....The ambience was fantastic...The waitress greeted the regulars by name. Nice wall hangings. The cook...a sister of the 2nd generation who have owned the restaurant came out and visited us...so wonderful ...
My husband ordered Country Fried Steaks, eggs over easy and toast..with water....
I ordered and easy over fried egg, perfectly crispy toast, and buttered rye toast👍👍👍👍👍 Everything is just the way I like it... We're thrilled to have stopped at this quaint gem.

Delicious, fast service and good portion sizes. Prices were fair. Just a small restaurant but would recommend to anyone camping in the area for a tasty breakfast!
