Wakefield House Of Pizza

We stopped ordering from here because the girl that works there is consistently rude.. eg: if you say "thank you" in person, she completely ignores you and on the phone, upon saying "thank you" after ordering, she'll just hang up on you. This happens constantly and it's honestly not worth getting an average pizza with a side of rudeness every time. Go ahead and check for yourself.. Nick's on Main street is better for Greek style pizza with many more (better) options and they deliver!

I grew up in Wakefield and use to go there when I was a puck 14 year old and play the video games. The owner, John, was always a gentleman to us even though we rarely bought anything. I moved when I was 18 and had not been back since last week. I went in there recently, Oct 2021, to see if it had changed much. To my surprise, John was there! We chatted and I ordered a steak and cheese. It was excellent. More importantly, I talked with john and he told me he had owned his restaurant since 1971. 50 years! That is impressive! God bless ya John!

Consistently good food and good prices. For those who distinguish this is "Greek-style" pizza (crispy, puffy crust). Pizza is excellent here as well as almost everything else I've had. Cheese slices are usually available (and not upcharged, just $1.25!) for a quick stop in. Three subs really stand out to me, sausage, tuna, and meatball. Also don't mistake the oft-reserved demeanor of the staff as impolite, they're very friendly, just a little brusque.

Absolutely fantastic service, with a great variety on delicious pizzas at a good deal. The owner was kind and friendly and made my experience a very positive one. I would definitely recommend the big mac pizza, or any of the handmade sub sandwiches. A great place for a quick bite to eat for lunch, or for a more sizable dinner option.

Hate to be negative, but this place has some serious attention problems. Called in an order for a white pizza since husband can't have tomatoes. I arrive 20-ish min later, pay and wait. And wait, and wait. Apparently they didn't start my pizza until after I showed up. Then it's covered in pizza sauce - on top of the toppings. No apologies, nothing. I can't even understand what the problem was, the place wasn't particularly busy, but the person that took my order seemed a little slow on the uptake. I'll frequent C&G Pizza from now on.
