Za-onn Thai House

First poor move I noticed off the bat as soon as I sat down to dine-in … we had to ask for water & then had to ask twice for the water. My family’s been in the restaurant business all their life, so I understand the hustle and grind, but service is the utmost important. Something as simple as water shouldn’t have to be asked, most places automatically give it nevertheless ask for it twice. Also ordered the papaya salad - very small portion. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants where the salad is a good size. Lad nah was also very bland - not flavorful at all.

I’m so glad I stopped by to get dinner here. I called my order in and it was ready promptly after I arrived. The food was piping hot- which is rare when you get takeout. It even stayed hot until I got home 15 mins later! The service was so friendly and welcoming, really a treat. And of course the food- so delicious. I ordered pad see ew & pad Thai with a soup- all of it was delicious and generous portions. 5 out of 5 for me!

From the first day they opened I have not found a Thai restaurant that matches their quality and freshness of the meals and ingredients. Quaint atmosphere, cozy seating and friendly staff always makes our visits very pleasurable. If your passing through Wallingford consider Za-Onn Thai restaurant .
