Such a little gem serving amazing and high quality food and coffee. One day we went we had to wait a little for the food, but the owner stopped by our table to apologize and offered us some drinks on the house. The staff is so lovely and the atmosphere really makes this a must visit. They also sell some amazing products from small vendors

❤️I love their 🥐 croissant, it is really big and puffy. ❤️Their salad is excellent 👍 Coffee is great as well. Good service, good vibe, highly recommended!

Love it here, so good having healthy choices. I would say that the pricing needs a little work. I wanted two salads with my Frittata. However the only way to do this (I was told) was to have 2 side salads at £3.50 each. So more expensive then one main salad. You’ll see from the plate size, it really isn’t that much. Having said that, they were delicious 😍

When visiting Winchester, I was looking for a good coffee place and I came across The Open House Deli, a very nice cafe with a chilled atmosphere. The coffee hit the spot! They have a shop inside too that sells healthy goodies and eco-friendly essentials. Definitely will come again on my next visit.

Stunning place. Beautiful salads made to really interesting recipes. Had the 3 portion salad, generous portions and great prices. Everything here looks so appetising and I love that they publish some recipes on their website for you to try and recreate at home. The staff were welcoming and chatty. Some lovely eco products for sale too. When I'm back in Winchester I'll be paying another visit for sure.

Salads are excellent combining so many different high quality ingredients and great flavours. Also they regularly change the salads so it never gets boring. A great cafe and deli

My absolute favourite place in Winchester! Their tasty salads are the best around (in my opinion!) and it's also a great place to head to for breakfast and coffee. Lots of veggie, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options available and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I also like to go there with my laptop to work in their seating area at the back :)

A little gem, with the loveliest staff. Really great coffee, delicious cakes and the best, most exciting salads I’ve had anywhere. Really complex flavours made with the freshest ingredients. Absolutely delicious! A selection of 3 is a great lunch for 2 people to share. Can’t recommend Open House Deli highly enough!

Soooo delicious. Fresh, seasonal produce prepared to perfection. It might not look like much but it was very tasty. Not cheap, but you're paying for quality, well worth it! Staff are lovely too, and it's a great space to relax.

This place is a bit confusing because passers by don’t know what it is. It has an identity issue being inside a bike store. It’s a small vegetarian cafe that has a separate area that isn’t obvious where they sell eco friendly products. They also sell their best selling products at the high street market. Personally I think they should concentrate on this as it gets more visibility. At their market stall I’ve purchased the collapsible reusable metal straw which is convenient when out and made well. I’ve also used their beeswax cling wrap. I’m a fan of both products and recommend them highly. With regard to the food at the cafe, it’s not clear as to what’s available with the sign versus what’s in the deli case. There wasn’t anything that looked great. I didn’t think there was a good variety of food, and their vegan butternut squash soup was very bland. I love that it didn’t have dairy but the soup desperately needed seasoning. Fortunately I took it to go so I could add seasoning at home. I like that it was put in an eco friendly container. The woman who served me was friendly and helpful when I asked if there were any baked goods that were gluten free and dairy free; unfortunately there weren’t any. They had either vegan or gluten free but not both. What they had on display looked appealing though. For their eco friendly products and service I’d give five stars; for the soup I’d give three. Averaging it to four.
