had the seitan sandwich and a smoothie which was delicious although bread was a bit too hard. no problem with swapping an ingredient in my sandwich with something else. fast service, overall a very nice place
Excellent restaurant - I'm not usually a fan of prawns but found the dish to be delicious. I also tried the steak and also found it to be good but maybe a little too much sauce.
I would reccomend stopping in for a meal if you are in York.
Also, it's worth going up the stars to have a look at the wonky floors, and decoration.
We popped in for some breakfast before heading home.. we had gone vegan sausage and egg muffin... It was delicious! I also had the freshly squeezed oj that was amazing too. The staff were friendly and the shop looked lovely.. will definitely return on our next trip to York
First time going here today and it's amazing. Staff are friendly & chatty & very helpful. Amazing vegan options, including vegan ice creams and sorbets. It's super reasonably priced and delicious, especially the vegan steak ciabatta. Will definitely travel back to go here!
Simply the best sandwich you can get in York. There are so many different sandwiches to choose from, and even as a meat lover, the vegetarian and vegan sandwiches are delicious. Generously sized sandwiches worth the extra few quid. Staff are always friendly, unfortunate the hear the other's reviewers poor experience, although I don't doubt it happened.
If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in York, you won’t find much better than source Deli. They cater to many dietary requirements.
Today I had the Vegan Ribs sandwich with Cherry Bakewell Victoria sponge cake and my wife had the vegan Christmas sandwich. Absolutely insane quality sandwiches with all fresh ingredients.
Had the vegan chichen, meatball sub & vegan rib, all amazing everytime. Not many places have a full vegan sandwich menu. Thier cakes are also unreal. Also check out the restaurant! The owners are really nice and although not fully vegan definatly at the forefront of vegan food in york!
Me and 3 of my friends all got the vegan chicken sandwiches and we all agreed it was the best sandwich we’d ever eaten! The staff were so friendly and helpful and they have an amazing range of vegan and non vegan foods, 10/10!
First time visiting the source deli today and i can say it will be my new sandwich of choice over the others in york. Finally a place i can take my vegetarian partner and she is spoiled for choice. Keep up the goid work source deli 👌👌👌👌👌👌
