Visited yesterday with my other half.. had a sharing platter & the huge pornstar martini with the bottle of prosecco. Staff very helpful..beautiful drink and great food! We will be back! �

Popped into the Slug & Lettuce Swinegate for a brunch we booked and was not disappointed. Our server Katy provided excellent service, the food options were very good & the drinks selection available as part of the brunch was varied. For the price we paid, well worth the money and the atmosphere was spot on with contemporary music playing throughout our visit (e.g. Chris Brown & Beyonce)
We popped in for a light bite and to get out of the rain. The name Slug and Lettuce made us want to try it. We ordered the 3 starters for 19.50. Big enough to share or a meal for someone hungry. We ordered the cod goujons, Sheezy (yes I spelled it right) mushrooms, and antipasti. You find your own table, then when ready to order, go to the bar area. The staff was friendly and followed up to make sure all was right. Decor was fun and unique colors. Classy feel overall.
Nice trendy pub serving good quality food & an excellent selection of cocktails and drinks on the menu.
I visited with my son in law and grandson on a Saturday. Quiet busy with loads of hen parts and party groups. Mainly females . The pub is aimed at lady's from the decor , cocktails and food menus. . Nicely done but bright and in your face with pink . Food was nice but everything was posh or spiced with chilli or some sort of dressing . All the stuff I don't eat . Even the plainish BBQ chicken thing was a salad ... Well a pile of rocket ... So not really a salad . Rocket means peppery so again no good for me. Ok for the girly get together but my grandson found it too screechy with squeeling excited women.
Attended here for a bottomless brunch for a friends 30th birthday. Having never attended a bottomless brunch before, I was sceptical about whether the service would be lax re: drinks: couldn’t have been more wrong.
The food (buttermilk chicken burger) was delicious and juicy, and our server Alicia was amazing. She was so attentive and the drinks were really free flowing. Nothing was too much to ask and she really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to make the day perfect. Really fun banter too which added to the whole atmosphere 🙂
Highly recommend for similar functions and would have no hesitation in returning in future.

There always seems to be a problem with paying via the app though, but at least you can organise your order on it then read off that to the bar :)
We came for a bottomless brunch for 11 of us. The food was amazing. Such a great selection and was hot and tasty. Drinks selection was amazing and Freya was always on hand to see if we needed any extra drinks! Great service. Everyone who helped serve our table was so friendly and smiley- especially Freya.
This was a lovely bar to visit, with a stylish design contributed to by the flashy lights and greenery! The bar is well-presented and the Christmas tree made a sweet addition; the staff were friendly, even filling up my water bottle when I had a sore throat. I enjoyed a refreshing strawberry cocktail, relaxing at comfortable seating on a clean table and having good views!
Freya server was great! So attentive asking if we wanted any more drinks even tho we already had some! And food was a 10/10 lovely bottomless brunch to say goodbye to the gals, definitely recommend
