Lovely pub with good beer for a good price for York and the staff is very friendly. :)
It is just sad that there is no Sky Sports available anymore at the moment, which impacts on the atmosphere due to missing customers in there.

Been Many years since I last went here but last Friday was fantastic, karaoke 🎤, good beer 🍻 and fun times, it's not your fancy shmancy pub, it's just a good place, good people 💯

I go here most fridays after work it has lovely food and the drinks are a fair price would highly recommend.

A great little pub on Micklegate in York. Friendly, welcoming staff and accessible due to the side entrance being step free and suitable for wheelchairs. Good to see that for not a huge place, there's also a disabled toilet facility. All Covid safety measures in place. Outdoor seating area is a good little sun trap too. Update: another visit, still as good. Not to busy, but too wet to use the suntrap!
