Good selection of plants on a decent sized footprint. Right next to the York outer ring road and the park and ride. Big car park, cafe, mini Waitrose, lots of departments. Worth a visit.

Improved in many ways. Plants are well tended. Cafe still needs attention. An all day breakfast would help. The coffee is excellent. Staff are friendlier too.

Had a great time today bought some fish in the aquatic section, had tea and cakes in the cafe which were delicious. Got a hanging basket for the garden on the way out. All staff were helpful and courteous,

Brilliant garden centre. It had everything possible I think. It had plants, tools, a little shop for food. They also had fish and everything you might need for a fish tank as well as pond fish and supplies

Lovely place. Great variety of plants. Has a Waitrose supermarket and cafe. Cafe could do with a open view outside space. Has toilets for customers. Prices are high.

I'll start with, I'm not a frequent garden center visitor. That said, I was quite impressed by Dobbies.
There was a great selection of plants, with the different types of plants fairly easy to find.
On this occasion I was just after outdoor plants but I did notice the garden furniture, giftware, cafe, and a food section.
The checkout experience was pleasant enough.

Really fantastic selection of products, would buy the whole shop if I could. Slightly pricey.
The staff are always happy to help. Plants always look in good health are well maintained. Just repotted some of our house plant collection with some lovely pots from here.

Lovely place. Great staff, disabled accessible. Lots of plants and lovely things to buy. Very covid safe, lots of car park spots. Lovely day out
