My Husband and I love York, we love the atmosphere, the bars, cafes, shops and food. Now we have discovered another reason to love York, Bull & Co, on Walmagate.
This place makes, hands down, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. My husband and I had a New Yorker and the combination of juicy Beef, tangy Sour Krout and Salty Pastrami proved to be a flavour sensation topped of by a perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle toasted Brioche Bun.
We had an accompanying side of perfectly seasoned Skin on Fries washed down by a Sprite Zero (of course).
The atmosphere was perfect with an enjoyable mix of 50's and 60's music. The waiting staff were very attentive and the place was spotlessly clean.
Would I eat here again? Yes, without a doubt. Probably tonight for tea.

I love Burgers and the new yorker burger from here is the best burger i have ever had (and i consider McDonald's to be inedible) and you may think i am exaggerating but i really am not. The place is spotless and the staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you. I only gave this place 5 stars because you cannot give more. P.s try the on skin chips they are lovely.

I ordered from here on Just Eat. I had the Chick Burger and Skin on fries. It was amazing. I was also given some free salted popcorn and some sweet salad type relish, was very nice. Super fast delivery too must have been only 20 minutes. Thanks :)

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food was amazing. My husband had the T-bone steak and it defeated him. Everything was cooked perfectly. Obviously going for a meal during the current restrictions made it a different kind of dining experience but the staff were fantastic and did all they could to make our evening perfect. Will definitely visit again.

Went for a late lunch with my mum and had a burger each. I got the chick and she got the new Yorker, both amazingly tastey burgers and cooked perfectly! Thought I'd have a desert as well, decided to get the proper home made brownie and ice cream which is the best I've had out of anywhere else I've been in york! You also get a free pot of popcorn to nibble on when you arrive. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and American themed. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again and would recommend everyone to visit!

We visited the bull restaurant today,we ordered steaks, absolutely gorgeous,cooked to our liking, plus the lady who looked after us was super nice,and could not do enough,plus it's dog friendly, we would highly recommend this place 👍Sam and Linda Murphy 👍
