We booked an afternoon tea for 2 and turned up in 50s attire! It was really lovely. The food was gorgeous we had to bring some home as we were stuffed. The staff really made it a great couple of hours. Would really recommend it and in a gorgeous quaint little tea room

definately old victorian! tea in a pot with a tea strainer and all cups and saucers in china! took me back a few years I can tell you! waitress service, napkins, sugar lumps oh my! what a treat

I've been going to these tea rooms for many years. Never had a problem with food, It's always been fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. All their food is eatable unless you're a consistent complainer! Hot specials are to die for! Staff are great. Decent toilet. Lovely atmosphere. Steps will be a hindrance for some. It's a bijioux place, small and has high chairs.

We enjoyed an afternoon tea for 3 today It was delicious and reasonably priced the staff were so helpful and friendly I have enjoyed an afternoon tea here every year for the last 7 years and it never disappoints

Lovely little place, very busy nothing was too much trouble, afternoon tea was delicious with sandwiches, scones and a selection of cakes beautifully presented!

Excellent tearoom friendly staff, great food decent size portions too, big selection of coffees. Cakes are the best too all homemade. Only downside is it's only cash payments.

Absolutely amazing.Food delicious.Staff cheerful,helpful ,They just can't do enough for you. Cleanliness outstanding. A great place to visit and if you do you will want to keep returning.

Victorian Tea Rooms has a lovely atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff with excellent food every time. Great place for people alone as you don't feel an oddbod. More tables upstairs and a lovely clean cloakroom.

Went for afternoon tea today with my husband, the food itself was beautiful, and served by friendly staff. I've given 4 stars and not 5 because apart from hand sanitizer on the table and track & trace I couldn't see any other covid precautions in place. I would go back but after the pandemic is over.
